I know a lot about clubs; this was a very good synopsis of how to do it basically. You covered the major things. I sent this to my mother in law as I am trying to get her into it. She lives in an area where they have a lot of garage sales, thrifts, etc and really nice clubs. Good job and great video. I will send it to anyone interested.

I’m glad they looked this up and found your video it’s very informational I ran into a guy that resells golf clubs at all the local sports type reseller have used equipment so I don’t know if he gets like five dollars for one but if there are more value and they pay shipping them that would be more profit I had no idea about shipping them in the cardboard tube also thanks for the tip

Watch for good condition persimmon woods. I recently bought a MacGregor driver at goodwill for $2 and sold it for $80. Headcovers can do well too.

I have learn to look for Callaway and Ping from Kevin Common Wealth. Clubs are just like pool cues. There are too many to remember and some names are worth high or low depending the age.

I usually do 5 x 5 then the length. Becuasue I mold the cardboard around the club head so save the size.

You mentioned about the shafts being steel for graphite what I noticed in the set that I have is all of them must be graphite cuz I checked in with the magnet except for the white hot putter they are the Big Bertha set and also I have a four drivers that are the gx7s I thought they were a lot of money but you're saying that if they're graphite then they're not I have another set of golf clubs but there are very mismatched but they're all still shafts ones in Nike and another one is a golf mate and another one is a junior senator another one is a usk something golf us kids golf I'm sorry so I haven't a clue because these were left to me my uncle passed away what they're worth or where to sell them to get the best money could you possibly help me with that

Both shafts are def worth money all depending on the club. I just notice that new graphite shafts can be worth alot. All the clubs that you are mentioning and worth money no matter the shaft if its steel or graphite some shafts are just worth a little more. To comp them out just included the shaft in your search and you should be able to find a good match on Ebay or Google. The USKG - US kids golf can def be worth some money and are very easy to list. Type in the numbers on the head of the club and the numbers on the shaft and it usually will have a sold comp. Most of my golf clubs sell the fastest on Ebay but people also sell them on facebook and Mercari very well too. Hopefully this was helpful. Thanks so much for watching! Thank you for watching! There is a proper way (which i dont know) i lay the club on the ground and measure from the top of the grip to where the club ends. (Where the club would touch the ground) never had one returned for size issues.

Wow! Awesome video Julian!!! If there are scuffs or stuff that won’t come off but it’s not dented, doesn’t rattle, and isn’t bent will it still sell? I rarely find good clubs but have seen ping but it just looked really used and dirty in a way I don’t think it’s look clean. A lot I see for sale look nearly new! Please consider a video on cleaning them if you haven’t already. Again what a great and informative video. You nailed it! Thank you!!

Thank you so much. Yes I sell alot of clubs that have scuffs and scratches on the faces. I would say make sure the club is a more expensive club though. I wouldn't pick up a $15 club in rough condition but I would pick up a $45 club with scuffs. But alot of times they clean up nice. I can definitely do a cleaning video :)

Nice. I am golfer and have accumulated a lot of clubs over the years and was planning to sell them on eBay as singles. I have a lot of boxes from buying clubs so got that covered and I used to be a big seller on eBay too but your tips are helpful. I was just more curious on which way to ship. Sounds like you use USPS? Got an idea on average cost? In was planning to do free shipping but wanted to factor that in. I see most people charging like $10-$15. Does that seem about right. how big is that box a 6x6x40 or more? I use the medium tubes for drivers and wrap the cardboard around the head and use tape. it stays in the under sized package.

I have been looking at golf clubs for about 6 months now at goodwill here in S. Florida. I visit about 8 goodwills. I have not seen one golf club that was not beat all to hell...I mean beat to hell..complete junk. I am shocked at all the online video's of all the very nice golf clubs everyone seems to be finding. I don't get it.

most of the ones I buy do sell between $15-$20 I just sell a good bit of them. But your right most clubs really arent worth much. Thanks so much for watching!

WHY.... as long as you don't hit the painted part and I usually use brass brush.

@@beardedthriftmachine True...copper is softer too...but often those brushes are fake and just steel. Just be careful. An old toothbrush is safer. And any wire brush will take the finish off. I suppose any brush at all will take a little finish off.

@@beardedthriftmachine What state are you thrifting in? Im in upstate NY. There is a lot of poverty here and golf isn't year round....so it isnt the best area. But when I lived near Seattle it was different. I think Stackedgolf is out of Georgia.

@@bengrimm622 that is so true. I got some cheap brass ones and they were much harder and did scratch stainless. I was like what in the world - I now buy decent brushes and it is much better :)
