@odiliblessing5273 she said that adding banana was optional. It's totally made to the taste of the person preparing it, that's OK if u don't like it no worries. I can tell you though it sure nuff looks like she knows what she is doing. I will definitely be trying her recipes...just as she did.

If you are using fresh one you dont need to soak, just wash and use.
