Brother Gage of copper wire not mentioned in this video. please tell me which number of gage is better for this kind of transformer or which Gage number's copper wire used in this video by you. And remember most of videos of transformer making by you , Gage number not show or not mentioned so it's a request that please always mentioned Gage of wire because your work is extra ordinary all your videos of transformer making are complete and so good 👍👍👍 , only missing is gage number.

For those who have asked or will ask what is 42. Its an constant, which has to be used when calculating how many turns equals 1 volt. I wasn't sure myself until I read up on it a little. www.eevblog.com/forum/projects/transformer-calculations-and-equations-in-here/ Would point out the calculations for how many required metres has not been shown in the tutorial. It seems this was already done since the shuttle holding all of the magnet wire. Had already been prepared. I wouldn't advise using any form of tape etc to isolate unless it has an high torrence to heat. Although many cover the core with cardboard from an typical cardboard box before applying the primary winding. Core ought to be isolated with Epoxy Resin before adding something like cardboard (Unless the core has already been encased). After each winding further isolation using high temperature tape needs to completely cover the transformer. Epoxy Resin would also give the transformer a good healthy finish as it would protect it from moisture. Other than pointing out the calculations in terms of the magnet wire length. I feel its a good tutorial. People Ive seen have asked about the AWG (Gauge). This doesn't really matter as the amperage depends upon your own requirements. Although would need to know the maximum wattage the core can handle before it saturates.
