I loved this idea. Ok, so I cheated. I took four strips at a time, and attached 2 on each side of my portable power drill bit. I power it with a pedal so the speed is controlled by my foot. Hands are free to guide the strips. I made it a bit thicker with the four strips so I can create a more durable rag rug. So far so good. Thanks for this great idea!

Thanks Elaine! Here's a DIY Flower Pot I made using the twine: www.gina-michele.com/2017/01/fabric-twine-flower-pot-diy.html It can also be coiled up and sewn to create a basket (there are tutorials on Pinterest for this)
