As a wound care nurse we use an acetic acid soak for patients with pseudomonas in the wound. AKA vinegar. Though it's not a perfectly processed factory made one you can do water that you've boiled to sterilize and mix vinegar in to soak a wound. Ratio is 3 tablespoons to one quart of water

Regarding cool uses for vinegar, our plumber says that pouring about a half cup down drains that are prone to clogging each night after everyone’s showered and then running some hot water down the drain after about 30 minutes keeps drains from clogging up later. Kind of a routine maintenance for pipes. Hope it helps! Thanks again for the great video!🙏

All the way from South Africa 😊 here's an excellent tip. To renew the look of your stainless steel pans and pots just add a bit of vinegar and dish washing liquid and clean it with a kitchen scourer. Once done rinse with clean water and dry it. It will have the same look as a new store bought item. God bless🙏

Last year I started turning the massive amount of pear cores and peelings from 3 trees to make pear cider vinegar using the same instructions you just gave. I use it as a hair rinse for myself and also my dog that has skin yeast problems in my hot humid summers. I put a couple tbs of white vinegar in my floor steam mop. It helps clean my floors and helps keep my steamer clean on the inside. The way the cleaner is designed you can never get all the water out of the steamer and it will mildew if I don't keep that bit of vinegar in the water. Take care and God bless !

TO MAKE ORGANIC CLEANING SPRAY: Fill large mason jar with fresh citrus peels of any citrus, cram them in there, no seeds or pith. Fill jar to the neck with vinegar and leave under the kitchen sink at least 2 weeks (a month is better). Filter through a cloth, Makes a wonderful concentrated spray. Add fresh water as desired for strength of cleaner. I ran an entire cleaning business with this stuff!

Brad, you have given me the greatest tip today. I have been having "drain flies" which are a close cousin to the fruit fly in my apt. for awhile now, and some days they are worse then others. Not remembering about the fruit flies, I put in a very shallow dish some dish detergent, some oil, and water. Hoping that tonight they might have been attracted and are now dead. But, since you have given me this tip, I will do this forthwith. I put white vinegar and water 50/50 in a spray bottle and keep it in the fridge suring the summer for sun burn. It takes the pain right out and keeps your skin cool and hydrated.

Vinegar is great for putting in your laundry on the rinse cycle or in the rinse water if you wash by hand. Vinegar helps to dissolve any soap that could be left in the clothes and is also a natural fabric softener. If using it in a washing machine the vinegar is also great for cleaning the washer hoses etc.

I wash my dishes by hand, no room in my tiny kitchen for a dishwasher. The water here in my city is bad, in the annual report they advise ppl that are elderly, or ppl with compromised immune problems, small children and infants, water for drinking, to not use it and only filtered water. add Pregnant moms to that list as well. PPL on chemo. SO I take no more chances with my rinse water, I add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to the rinse water, and always leave the clean dishes in it for a few minutes as well.

Use it for sunburns. Either add some to your bath or of it's really bad pour it on a wet washcloth and lay it on your skin for a few seconds. Takes the sting of the burn out and seems to make the red go away faster. Also use it in your laundry as a fabric softener, works great for towels.

That explains the Jack and Jill rhyme!! Jack and Jill went up the hill To fetch a pail of water. Jack fell down and broke his crown, And Jill came tumbling after. Up Jack got, and home did trot, As fast as he could caper, He went to bed to mend his head, With VINEGAR and brown paper. (Not sure if there is any significance to the brown paper? 🤔)
@wknfriends4138
@wknfriends4138 3 жыл бұрын
maybe in the period/year this was written? People kept all their paper, and back then brown paper was used to wrap stuff you bought at the store, of items you bought, instead of paper bags. That paper was valuable back then, for any one to use, for so many different uses. So jack used it as a bandage with it soaked a bit in vinegar.
