Nicely done, sir. Some of those meters have a (poorly documented or undocumented) fine adjust screw to calibrate the displayed value, so if yours does, you could match to your better handheld meter.

Very nice video, simple and easy to understand. Can you do a similar project. Input would be standard AC 100-240v 50-60Hz 70w Output: DC 20v 3A

Thanks! Maximum current is 1.5 A . But heat sink needs to bee much biger that i used!
@williamguillen41134 жыл бұрын
The problem es max dissipation (20 watts), no max current. So the max voltage at 1.5 Amps will be 13.3 volts.

Sir, can you make a variable power supply. I have heard that lm317 has 3volt dropout voltage(if 12v is source then the max output volt is 9v when high load is connected i.e. 12-3=9)

what regulator should i use for a 30amps power supply ?
@Adramach2 жыл бұрын
lm 388 radiator is short connected with output pin. Do you really wantto connect the case to 5A source? in both lm 317 and 338 radiator must be isolated.

I assume you are asking that for the AC to DC converter? If yes, the reason he didnt use a transformer is bcos he used the laptop power supply for the AC to DC conversion.
