Strictly anaerobic process alla...they are facultative anaerobic bacteria...which means the process of production of yoghurt is facultative anaerobic process

Beautiful ... loved your conversation more than anything else. Obviously the curd making process is Bang on. Living in North India, I use the Rice maker pot during winters. Even with pasturised and double toned milk, I make good thick curd.

Curd , yoghurt and Greek yogurt are different dairy products. Curd is obtained by the action of natural curdling agents lime ,vinegar .. but yogurt production we use different flora.. example Leuconostoc, lactobacillus etc...we can enhance the nutrient capacity by adding different flora Good video....

It was an informative video bro. Mentioning a small correction, Lactobacillus is anaerobic (Does not need oxygen for its survival). Please mention the artificial cultures that are available in India for making Yoghurt.

I started making it, from last year and love it. Can you make a video about making kefir for others? "Kefir has around 12 live and active cultures and 15 to 20 billion colony-forming units (CFUs). I used to try all methods to set curd - finally I used to add 1 tbsp of milk powder to get thick curd . Will buy full cream milk and try next time.

Thanks bhai. It was a struggle to make yogurt here in Norway, with cold temperatures. Made a perfect yogurt with the method suggested in Video. It was more tasty than the one which we get in shops here.

@@BoomBaangh Thanks for reply dear! 😊👍 For yoghurt making strains of bacteria are specific. The process is also slightly different. A starter for yoghurt shall contain - Lactose, Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus, Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. lactis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium lactis etc.. Also, it is regulated by the counts of bacteria, contents etc. within the limits, by controlling agencies. After multiple cycles using yoghurt, more strains are naturally added and hence the property changes to curd like as curd may have multiple strains. Curd is more grainy and sour. From the taste and looks we can make out what is there in our product. In continuation with todays video, please make another video about Greek yoghurt making. It is rare in India.
