Made 100+ videos with my Blue Yeti mic's shitty out of box settings because I was too daunted by the prospect of learning how to treat my audio properly. Turns out it was super easy thanks to your videos lmao. I'm just rockin the compressor and expander and it's made a world of difference. Tried other YT people's suggestions and they had me adding extra filters that ultimately made it sound worse. Much appreciated dude

this was really helpful in understanding audio stuff, probably my biggest weakness when it comes to all this set up, but i was wondering if there was a way to similarly edit my mic quality for everyday use/in discord and such, and not just in obs

Usually some microphones come with their own software that you can do that so I'd check and see if yours has any

@1:44 killed me before I could fix my audio - Jokes aside; this was very helpful - after taking such a long break from streaming and being confronted with how many things I have to set up in OBS was overwhelming. Especially the audio part of it all. Not only was your tutorial entertaining but it was straight forward and very helpful - far more helpful than other videos that oversaturate this topic with basic information. 1 year later and this video is still very relevant. Great job. :)

2 things I like to also do is run my microphone through a mixer like the SteelSeries GG software (works with any microphone OR headset) and then run it through nvidia broadcast and then add my filters in OBS. This guide was very helpful for fine tuning my videos audio thanks alot!
