Aww that's so cute!! The first day I got my 2 month kitten she slept in my lap that same day. I was spending time with her, playing, petting her, and letting her get used to me. She's 6 months old right now, and she likes to sleep on my hair or on me sometimes. Today, she was licking me after I pet her:)

We had a wild cat join our household after we moved. He was a European Forest Cat and was build like a fricking bulldog. He was strong enough to pull 9 year old me on his toy through the flat if he wanted to. This guy wasn't scared of anything, really, but he did react quite skittish to touch. He learned over time that pets are not a bad thing, but he was quite clear when he was not okay with them anymore. The amazing thing was, he wasn't scared of the vacuum at all. This like 7 year old, fully feral cat who decided to move in with us cause of how sick he was and asking for help, literally let us vacuum his fur. And he *loved* it. Gizmo, I miss you, buddy. Really hope you are doing well wherever you ended up in.

Don't wild feral cats act aggressive? They also have an odd fur pattern. They usually need to be bred with domestic cats a few times to have a proper temperament.

My cat, since when i got her, she was infested woth flea's, ended up getting regular flea baths so now, she associates baths with the good feeling of being less itchy or not itchy at all as well as treats, so she doesnt try to escape. She will hop out when you turn around, since i did that to grab towels when she was a kitten, so she associates that with "oh? We're done? Ok! Lemme hop out for you!"

Coincidentally, my brother once had a kitty that was named Lucky. Ironically, it got hit by a car a few weeks later due to my ex-stepfather being a drugged up and drunken dong and leaving the door open so that he could escape and go on the highway.

I got a kitten from my sister when she was 2 months old, I would softly kiss her on her forehead or her cheek. One day I went to smooch her forehead and she even lowered her head so I could smooch better. She even lets me clip her nails, clean near her eyes for eye boogers with little to no hassle ( if mild hassle does occur I ask her to calm down and hold on and 9-10 times she’ll stop until i’m done and then ill smooch her head and tell her she’s a good girl. One time in particular really caught me off guard, I had let her out of my room to roam freely in the living room, but before she got to far I asked her to hold on, so she stopped, sat down and looked at me as I explained to her that if she wanted back into my room, to either meow and/or softly claw at the door. After I told her, she was still sitting and looking at me, So I said that was it sand she was good to go, so she got up and casually walked away… She did do as asked as well, She clawed my door just enough for me to hear and mewed for good measure. That was like the 2nd time of trying that and now, I do it every time she wants out.

Submissive may be the wrong word choice. But that's the point of the video. Socializing and exposing them to many things correctly, when young. Makes them comfortable when older. Do things gradually, and some cats get comfortable with baths. If you don't, cats become very distressed. Dog trainers do the same, they get dogs used to being touched everywhere. So when they go to dog groomers, the dog doesn't feel scared or threatened when being touched anywhere in the process

I did this with my dog!! Everyone is jealous of our special bond and how well behaved and benign he is, and my secret is just raising him as a good mother would: have him lots of attention, love and baby talk early on, let him tag along with me everywhere and plenty of socialising. This is so true I brought up both my boys Oliver & Tobias this way, they were the most playful, lovable tolerant, trusting Siamese Cats ever. Tho they didn’t suffere fools gladly who didn’t respect their rules or other Cats on their property. They died age 17 & 18 2022 then 2023. I am still grieving my best furry friends. Cats are great companions, both intelligent and funny, they need lots of love & kindness and patience! Also you should never shout at Kittens or be cruel to them as they will grow up mean and not adjust easily to life with people. ( I’ve seen it done by ignorant people, my daughter rescued a Young Cat from someone years ago, she was a terrified abused kitty but today she is a well happy, contented cat who has the best life ever! Cats also need to be kept well entertained, or they make their own and can get a bit naughty with your furniture ! Thanks for sharing this lovely informative video! ✨😊🐈🐈‍⬛😻✨💕
