It's amazing to me how "easy" it is to tweak these videos ... that is, the tools themselves are easy to use but it certainly takes quite a special eye to see and know what needs to be changed and where. I'm looking at the befores and thinking they look great ... but once they were tweaked I can see how they didn't and they look better having been improved. Thanks for posting these. It's super appreciated.

Great tutorial I gave it a like and subscribed. Thanks. I'm not being awkward here just this is what makes it confusing for people. In the info below you say "This is how I 'grade' my footage'" and then you say "Not the only way to 'color correct" Grading and color correcting are two separate processes. And I know it might sound like I'm being petty here but I'm just pointing out that this is what confuses people. What you actually did was 'color correct' you didn't do any grading. Grading is a stylistic choice. Color correcting is aligning the color channels so that they can then be graded. Or at least that's my understanding of it. Hope you don't take this as a negative comment it's not my intention. Great tutorial though, thanks again.

so you record in 60fps but convert/change it to 24 in premiere pro by slowing it down? is that correct? :)

hi, ryan, great video, dude. when shooting the young women, did you shoot for slow mo? or did you do it in post?

Thanks man. I shot it in slowmo natively in the camera. So 4k @60fps through the Variable Frame Rate function. Just be aware you won't have sound when you shoot in this method. Cheers

For the most part this isn't bad, but I would have just added contrast and saturation to the image first before messing with the color curves. You won't be able to accurately correct doing it that way.

will that exact Tokina Lens you have listed above (and links to Amazon) fit on my GH 5 camera straight out of the box ? or do I have to get the Metabones or something with it to make it fit please ?

Hi, you have to get an adapter to connect any lens that does not have a m43 mount. The listed Tokina lens has a canon aps-c mount, so you will need a canon-to-m43 adapter to be able to use it. I`m using a metabones adapter myself, but you might consider buying a "Viltrox EF-M2" which is the cheaper alternative to a metabones and also compatible with the gh5 and canon lenses. Some research regarding cropfactor and vignetting might be a good idea in this case...

Not bad ya. I really like turning Sharpness to -5 though I find it to be way too intense otherwise
