We may be spending a lot of time and effort taking care of the skin on our faces and necks and yet forget the skin on our bodies.
One of the ways we can make sure we also have glowing and healthy skin on our bodies is through regular exfoliation.
In this video I will talk about that and even show you how I make my own body scrub using simple ingredients at home. -

Marami po akong natututunan sa inyo doc.Just continue to make video doc.ask ko din kung pwede mgsuggest kau ng retinol or retinaldehyde cream and face serum na affordable for face kc dry and sensitive po kc skin ko.im 39 years old na po.ask ko din po kung what whitening lotion na puwede irecommend for stretchmarks sa inner thigh ko.ngpaco2 laser po kc ako dati tapos ngkahypigmentation po cya.

Find out what is causing them to darken (eg. friction, pressure etc), stop them and then gently exfoliate and/or apply lightening creams

Ok din po ba chemical exfoliant for body scrub like Aha and Bha?

Arvin Cabachete yes actually meron available na body scrubs with AHA. Ung BHA can be good for bacne or chest acne :)

Codey G hello! Yes to body acne video. With regards to brands, the only one ive really used and tried is the skin medica AHA+BHA cream pero d na cya available here :( ive come across a few other brands pero wala akong maalala na particular brand.

Dr. Gaile Robredo-Vitas thanks Doc, will wait for the body acne video :). I just realize that I am using a body lotion/spray with salicylic acid (azelac) so that should do, pero like you doc I really love body scrubs. My only problem is I have this love and hate relationship with vco, so other than oil, what emollient can I use? Can I use lotion (eg jergens ultra healing) or physiogel/cetaphil cleanser? It’s too expensive but vco sometimes break me out.... thanks Doc

Codey G oils are occlusives kc and can clog pores that’s probably why nag be-breakout ka :) u may use it on areas that are not rich in oill I’ll glands - like your arms and legs. But for your chest, back and face, use something lighter, maybe with a lotion-base :)
