+Julide Cho Not really -I tend to use less eyeshadow than I see people on youtube use highlighter for the same area and a subtle look! -I haven't brought a 'highlighter' except for lighter coloured concealer, I just use a eyeshadow. I find that loose eyeshadows seem to have more pigment than the pressed or baked sort. When I've swatched highlighters in store, it seemed to be eyeshadow in facepowder!

+Kristine Smith I think it is to make the solid form. Sometimes coconut oil can melt at different temperatures -it goes from a white solid to a clear liquid! If for instance you were to be in a warm room then it could melt the chapstick obviously doesn't. On the flip side, chapstick can cause blocked pores (it did with me when I was younger and not oily!), and it contains stabilisers aka possible chemicals. You can quite easily do the highlighter and either leave out the chapstick but have it in a pot to prevent leakage -you might need to increase the amount of coconut oil and/or corn starch, or find something else that won't have the risk of blocking your pores (such as a more natural ingredients version of lipbalm that doesn't clog pores/contain specific stabilisers).

+Kristine Smith the chapstick gives it the waxy feel, which bonds it all together. You can also use beeswax instead, but its harder to find
