I'll give you a more instant cleaner. Sprinkle a little baking soda on wet fingers. Wet the jewelry to be cleansed and gently rub the jewelry pc between the baking soda sprinkled fingers. If jewelry pc has lots of crevices then sprinkle a little baking soda on a wet toothbrush and gently scrub in all the crevices. Rinse, pat dry and wear it immediately.

Hi. What is the purpose of the aluminum foil? Im just curious. Thank you!
@howto6 жыл бұрын
The aluminum foil will cause a chemical reaction that helps to clean the jewelry! Thanks for watching!

@@howto yes there will be a chemical reaction, I'm not a chemist so don't quote me, yet I believe from past experience trying to generate hydrogen gas this could be dangerous, the chemicals added will cause the aluminium to corrode which will release hydrogen gas, just be careful not to do this near naked flames or and source of ignition or you might have a problem with an explosive mix.

I do use the same ingredients, but NOT salt! It will just be corrosive, by putting microscopic cuts in the metal, letting gunk get in there, and stuff! I use a gentle Dawn dish liquid, and baking soda mixture, that is well dissolved! You do not wante it pasty or the baking soda can be too rough like the salt! Plus, it remove the rust!
