Chances are the lotion has Vaseline in it and just like Vaseline does not smell like anything, because Vaseline is highly refined and purified…

I always spray perfume on after lotioning but it never made the scent last longer. The Vaseline doesn't work because the fragrance sits on top but doesn't mix with your body chemistry the same.

Any moisturizer.I use oil.A good one is Neutrogena oil because there's a light fragrance,but won't overpower the fragrance you're wearing.Oil amps up the perfume concentration as well.Love your hack.❤❤New subscriber

Hack does work for me. I just spray the spots i normally do, wait for that to dry and then respray same spots. Fragrance gives your skin the oil it needs to keep 2nd layer lasting .

This is called credibility. I refuse to use petroleum based products. I currently use cera ve but I want to try the one you suggested as well. I also make my own fragrance primer. I use pure rose water or distilled water, silk peptide powder and hyaluronic acid. It also does wonders for the face.

you apply vaseline on the pulse points not on your whole body, making it not smell. thats y when u use it as lip bulm it wont smell cuz its not alot

Applied a scented lotion and then my perfume and oh my goodness....could not smell my perfume at all which i has applied on dry skin previous day and it stayed. The lotion drowned the perfume away. Will try this thanks

Yes!!!! I tried this application method multiple times, on different occasions, and the results are the same EVERY, SINGLE, TIME!!! I don’t care if I try it fresh out of the shower, in the morning the following day, or at a random time when I’m getting ready to leave. The results are the same where my perfume projects very mildly and it lasts maybe an hour tops. It dissipates easily. Where as if I apply the perfume on dry skin, I can get between 6-12 hours, depending on the perfume itself and/or how much I spray. So I don’t see how this works. At least it’s a “No” for me too. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Interesting . Do you think it depends on the body’s ph? I tried the Vaseline once and it lasted all day long. I had to wash the fragrance off that night because it smelled too strong to me lol the lotion doesn’t work for my skin I think. Because I apply lotion after every shower anyway. Your job sounds amazing though 😍

Vaseline is odorless though? If it smelled like gas then people wouldn’t be applying it everywhere on their body, some apply it as an eye cream. Vaseline is refined and purified like crazy so I doubt it has a “gas” smell.
