Yassss!! I am one year loc’d this month & struggling to find new styles. I’m going to a destination wedding in Jamaica in July and I am def doing this hairstyle! They are beautiful on you! Thanks for sharing

I love this hair.... it blends so well with my locs.....it also ages well.... I am putting burgundy Cuban mojito hair in as I watch this video.... u did a great job.... I still can't twist all that well...

This is cute on you! 😍😍 Would this be safe to put over starter locs that are one month old? I really wanna put in a protective style in so bad but I don’t wanna mess them up.

Thanks so much love!!! and I would advise you to wait, your locs are just starting out and even though you might be careful with the tightness, twist still put tension on your scalp/hair. I wanted to wait until I made one year but I got impatient. You don't want to thin or weaken your locs. Hope this helps!

Alicia Cadet great question! And I would say yes, you can! I see it all the time where you can’t protect your hair underneath with a wig cap. Just make sure that you’re still moisturizing them underneath. I’m not a wig wearer but I might have to get into it to switch it up a bit!

So would you recommend avoiding a retwist if someone wanted to do this on order for the locs to be more "frizzy" or fluffy and better blend with the hair?

I think either way would work! But after a retwist might actually help if you were wanting to tuck the loc into the Marley hair so you don’t even see it

Is there a special way that you have to twist them like the rope twist or do you just twist them like a regular twist?

I would say like rope twists just so they won't unravel on you. The texture of this hairs helps as well since it's not as slippery.

Casiphia Israel I would say wait as long as you can. Let your locs build up and get strong. Even tho this hair was super lightweight, it still creates slight tension on the roots.

I would say yes, putting them in over a fresh retwist could cause more tension on your roots

I would say try to wait at least 10-12 months. You don’t wanna put any stress on your hair when they’re still in the locking stage.

how many locs do you have and how many packs of hair did you use?

I have 67 and I used 1 and a half of those packs of hair. I started doing one loc per twist, but I had to combine some making it two locs per twist. I'm sure I used about 1 pack in total after combining. Hope this helps!
