İ think its easy for dry skin to look flawless, you just put on 10 types of moisturizer and vola. For oily, you do your make up and 3 minutes later your nose is shinning brighter than the sun.

go for a pore filling primer and set the t zone area with translucent powder and setting spray rest you can do the same steps and makeup will be long lasting

These tutorials are sooo useful !! You literally get into the depths and the reasoning of every product and that's the best part about you ! Plus even i am an EXTREME DRY SKIN type so learning things from you every time ! But just a few doubts , 1. What about sunscreen ? When do we use it in the prep part? 2 pleaseeee review the kay beauty foundation !! I have heard it's very hydrating for dry skin ! LOADS AND LOADS OF LOVEE MALZZZ ! HUGE FAN !! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

You can add Sunscreen post moisturiser 😚 but since a lot of sunscreens are heavy on the skin - you will have to wait 15 mins for the sunscreen to set and then go in with the primers

You'll need to be very careful with using sunscreen under makeup! Many sunscreens tend to pill up with the continuous stippling and blending motion of the brushes. Or you could go for a sunscreen which tends to be more silicone-y, so it has a primer like effect. A great example is the Re'equil ultra matte sunscreen! But as Malvika said, the waiting time is super important :)

Do you all dampen your foundation/ concealer brushes before use?? My brushes feel so bad to blend! They are from PAC.. but blender works well for me

Nope. I don't think anyone dampen their brushes.

No..no need to dampen them..if you want you can spray some setting spray over your brushes. It will help with better application of the product ✨

brushes shouldn't be dampen...i also feel sometimes dampen blender also picks up the foundation rather blending ...so here is a tip girls!!wash and keep ur blenders atleast the night before or minimum 3-4 hours and use them u will see the difference.. obviously u will need time to practice it🙂

Hey just discovered this base make up tricks.. It's amazing.. Just wanted to knw u didn't apply any makeup setting spray or fixing spray.. Is it compulsory or v can skip.. Dear Malvika!! Thankyou so much for super deep knowledge on flawless base. My fav part was the setting and highlighting. Just one question i want to ask that when i do my base therez a swelling on my cheek bones as my foundation gets oxidized. Secondly can we apply sunscreen after applying moisturizer?

I’m not really sure but maybe the product you are using is not working well for you, try using a different foundation. And yes you can definitely apply spf after moisturisers. SPF is usually the final step in any skincare routine X.
