This is still one of the hardest factions to soley grind, I'd reccomend doing this passively

If you're solo, the fastest method that I've found is to do OoS Ashen Winds raid. I've gotten it done from dive to sell in 8-13 minutes. The island you get really affects it because there one island (I think Marauders Arch) where he spawns in the middle, and you either have to lead him to shore, or carry everything to shore. It's 50k, each time with grade 5. It may be worth it to do the ghost fleet to initially get to grade 5, but I haven't tested it yet. The emissary quest just isn't worth it solo. It"s also 50k with grade 5 but takes around 20 minutes, and your chances of running into people and spawns are higher.

I have been doing skelly lords and hitting ship wrecks.. Those 6k skulls really stack up if you are on the look out for wrecks and ashen captains that spawn randomly. Ashen winds is great too

I found doing the skeleton lord voyage in the devils roar was quite good. Stop off for any shipwreck and do all bottle quests you see and you’ll reach grade 5 really quickly

You can repeatedly revote new Skeleton Lord bounties in the Ancient Isles until you get Thieves' Haven. There you can use any one of the array of traps to instantly kill the waves and the Skeleton Lord. I dont know if this is really any faster for larger crews than cannoning them, but for a solo it's nice.

You can get grade 5 in 2 forts, but I’d also recommend doing the skeleton fleet instead of BB because it’s faster and gives the same tier of eye, then do a skeleton lord or two to hit grade 5

In my opinion, the skelly fleet is better for solo/duo players. I never seem to get grade 5 for the Burning Blade, even with getting all of the loot. Then I do a skeleton lord, a small bounty, then the emissary quest.

I got a question. Let’s say I start my session off with a raid voyage and I finish the whole thing. Are you able to bury the loot on an island, dive to another raid, complete it, and then dig back up the loot?

I've found that doing a skeleton fort is one of the best ways to get quick reputation. You'll get to roughly tier 3 by the end and you get alot of bang for your buck if you're a solo/duo especially. I grind them as a solo and they take at most if you know what you're doing 15 minutes and will net you 2 villainous skulls, 1 stronghold skull, 3 dark bounty skulls, 3 corrupted skulls, a tier 2 orb, and a ashen chest with its contents. If you're solo the boss and his health will scale to you and will die in 3 kegs which will always be readily available on a skull fort as long as you can do the waves without blowing the skeletons holding the barrels up next to all the natural spawns. All in all you get more skulls than an ashen lord and you get a tier 2 orb as opposed to the tier 1 orb. Only downside is the loss of the ashen winds skull but I think getting significantly more skulls along with a higher tier orb is worth it.
