10% buff is a 10% increase to point assignment in hero points. Each applied point has differing increases to the correlated stat it boosts.

5:45 I think it's based on your stats Post Myth Rank (maybe), so Strength woudl be 48, so 10% = 4.8, round down to 4, 40 dex = 40/10 = 4, 17 int /10 = 1.7 rounded down to 1 *(same with wisdom), Con (based on the video it goes up from 33 to 36, so 3 points not 2) is 33/10 = 3.3 rounded to 3, and attunement = 20/10 = 2. (For reference 4.01 is what i think the stats are with Myth rank, without shrines)

The 10% increase is based on your current amount of starts so 10% of 40 strength is 4 point making you have 44. At least that’s what I’ve noticed ? - and the % increases differ from each stat Crit Dmg increase with 2 per strength while crit chance is 2.5 ?

5:59 The 10% buff to stats is to the total number of points rounded down appearantly. So if you are Village idiot and you max your Strength you would have a total of 38 points before myth rank. 10% of 48 is 4.8 which would translate into 4 points rounding down. You get 1.25% crit damage per stat point which would equal a total of 5% that you are seeing. For context your max Dex is 40 (10% of 40 is 4 again), dex provides 2% crit chance per point so you get a total of 8% boost to the total crit chance.

Your Dexterity is 44. Base Dex before world buff is 40. A 4 point increase, so 10%, as it is supposed to be. Am I getting this right? It seems to me that your math is off. not that its a bug. However, i'm not trying to school you or anything, if you could explain how you reached the conclusion in your video, that would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to figure out these numbers too.

Only thing i hate is i want to make a spellshot character but i have to go and Recollect all the Collectibles again and collecting all 260 dice is a pain, i understand the Shrines but not the other Collectibles wished they carried over.

How did you get 50/50 in strength where I can only get to 38/38 in strength.

I certainly appreciate the effort put into this video, but I'd like to provide a lot of corrections here, because it comes across a bit confusing I believe. - Firstly, I would stop referring to all these things 'increasing the max amount of points spec'ed into it.' Since you said several times that it *both* adds points, and increases. the max. Obviously it increases the max amount of points, because it's adding points! It's not like it gives you more cap to spend other points. Keep it simple. Myth Rank allows you to add 10 points to each stat. Challenges allow you to gain 10% additional stats in each stat. -Secondly, on the subject of the Challenges: The 10% increase is *exactly* a 10% increase. Note, the 10 points per stat you gain in Myth Rank are *not* counted. So it ultimately gives you 10% of your initial stats + the points you spend. So if you have 10 starting strength, and add 10 points, you have 20 strength, and thus get 2 additional points (10%). If you add 15 strength, it's still 2 points, since you haven't hit 30 yet, and obviously there are no decimals in the stats. So if you want to take the most advantage of the 10% buff, make sure you hit those 10-point thresholds. All of your various percentage numbers are inaccurate, since you're not taking these things into place. It's always consistently 10% of the base + points spent, rounded to every 10 points. I hope this helps anyone who views this video - it all works perfectly fine =)

Strength is 1.25% Crit Damage. Dexterity is 2% Crit Chance. Intelligence is 1% Spell Cooldown. Wisdom is 2% Status Effect Damage. Constitution is 2.5% Max HP/Ward. Attunement is 1% Skill Cooldown. Note that this follows D&D rules (kinda) so 10 is your "baseline" value where no bonus is applied. These bonuses are for every point above 10 you have. It also means if you don't build your points early on in those categories that your Background has negative values in, those stats will actually give you a penalty to those stats instead of a bonus. Finally, the collectibles/unlocks bonuses of 10% for the respective stat are based on your current value and they seem to just simply cut off without any rounding. So if you have anywhere from 20-29 points in a stat (including permanent bonuses from Myth Rank), you will get 2 bonus points. The moment your stat without this bonus reaches 30 points, then you will go up to +3 in that stat. As for stat maximums, they're basically set up so that you're able to manually allocate up to 20 points into any stat you want. The maximums are adjusted at creation based on your Background (so if you take Village Idiot, your Strength cap will be 38 [10 stat base + 20 you can spend is 30, plus the bonus 8 you get for free to start at 18 gives you a cap of 38 Strength] and Intelligence/Wisdom will be 27, while the unaffected stats will cap at 30). Bonus points from Myth Rank and your other bonuses give you your points but also give you that same amount as a higher "cap" at the same time, to basically reflect that you just got them for free and haven't "spent" all 20 Hero Points in that stat yet. Also to note with regards to the video, there are a few things that are misinformation in here (listing things as bugs when they aren't, listing incorrect stat changes from bonuses, etc.), and also the fact that you can't actually "max your Hero Points" but rather this video simply goes over all of the different methods of acquiring more stats, which is still useful for those who don't know.
