As a brand new th15 I'm happy that so many upgrades have been nearly halfed in time. The storages went from 9 or 10 days to 5 or 6... shit is crazy good

The total time to max has decreased alot actually since the only increase is on th16 and for all th16 upgrades we will use magic items and we wont need magic items now for lots of th14&15 upgrades..

One thing is that builder potions are comparatively much better, I think the value for buying builder potions for gems or CWL medals is good, especially if you have no more 12+ day upgrades left

You realize you get attacked by th14s at 13 and all you get are pets and walls at 14 so it’s basically th13 with more upgrades there’s no point in not going to 14 it can only help you

i dont understand why everyone so happy about this. we keep griding but nothing to show for it as sucercell allways drops a new TH that no F2P can max... and new players than can improve a lot faster wich is unfair to the ones who have been griding for years. the effort i put in playing 7 years today a player only spends 2 years and can achieve my level and upgrades. its unfair.

@@zachpinkston4233 buddy all i did is an observation! Supercell does a great job but far from perfect and its hard to please everyone. but its also unfair for people who buy the golden pass everyday and lets say use it to speed a 10M gold + 10 day building and then in a few years from now a new player will pay the same 8 bucks for the pass but will be able to do the same upgrade for 2M + 2 days for example. Its a constant run uphill and as someone F2P or who only buys the pass I know I will never get there. Look at boom beach for example. for 5 years now they haven't made a time / resource reduction needed for upgradability

@@bdlegendcoc I realize that , its hard to please everyone but for someone like me whos F2P + gold pass only for 7 years griding everyday i am still th15 bit rushed... I stoped buying the golden pass as it is unfair for the future. Today you pay 8 bucks for the pass and use it to lets say upgrade a lot of buildings that take 15 days. 2 years from now with all these time reductions, a new player will pay the same 8 bucks for the pass but will make a lot more improvement as the buildings will be 6 days instead of 15 and resource wise also cost less.

yeah probably. The th14 guide will be edited and should be up in around a week or so, that'll tell you EXACLTY which buildings to upgrade before going forward

if you are not rushing to have a donate account, rushing like that it’s not worth it, why would you skip the whole game, skip the wars from th12-th14 which is pretty fun, just to hit a town hall, you are gonna stop one day and do what? you will eventually have to upgrade your defenses, you can’t skip that, you will just skip the most fun part of the game. Spamming dragons or witches and pray for a 3 star is not fun.

I felt the time reductions and theyre ~~great? Im at th13 and the gold prices for 3 day upgrades are ridiculous. 8mill for a 3 day archer tower 8.2 mill for a 4 day mortar. Like I have 6 builders and to occupy them all for building upgrades it would take me around 10 million gold to farm everyday. And unfortunately this makes the game feel more grindy. And i would love to see more ways to obtain loot

This video thinks all the value that comes from using magic items is in the amount of time they can reduce. I'm quite okay with using magic items on things because they create other value. Like upgrading storages to allow runes to generate more and upgrading army camps so your army can be more powerful...

@@bigfella23729 Timesaver really only have value when they help your army get better and to burn loot, because, as you note, you can get plenty of loot already. What he suggests doesn't recognize that.

I see your point, but I still hold that the biggest benefit of magic items is the time. If we look at the total time to max, the only way you can reduce it significantly is to knock out the longest upgrades, not the ones that you'll unfortunately have to wait through! To each their own though (:

@@bdlegendcoc Well, sure, we do use them to knock out time, but the day or two saved by prioritizing one item over another can mean many days of playing in a less ideal manner if time is the only thing you prioritize. Once you have completed the necessary items to make the game more enjoyable, THEN you prioritize by what works best with time... and sometimes that can still be quicker items because COSTS may lead you to pick one way because you can immediately do one build and launch the next where as doing the highest time build might mean you still have to wait for resources before launching the next so the time savings evaporate.
