For clarity. Just did this, it's amazing how confusing it is when you about to cut a $250 shaft A-(B+C) = Amount to remove or said another way A-B=X X+C= Amount to remove. OR Shaft Length - Installed Length + Coupling depth = Amount to remove Seems simple until you come up with the wrong answer. I would advise marking it, doing the side by side install and verify the marks pass the sanity check. You should have a gap between the marks which roughly matches the couple depth number. That saved me from doing it wrong.

I'm from the states and we don't use metric, but in the video it showed the result of the calculations to remove material from the pto as 110, yet the person cutting the pto marks of 160 mm on the cover of the pto for removal. Could you please explain the difference because I am clearly not getting it?

Not that easy. The implement is not even on the tractor. The PTO doesn't come off the rototiller. So it takes some thought.

All sides = cut same lenght off from both inner metal tube and outer tube, or what??? Then cut the same length off from the safety plastics tube? So only cut from 3 different tubes, not 4? Greetings from Finland, I have to install a small cat1 one row potato harvester to my 61 hp Ford 4600 (1981, I think this was it's last manufacturing year). The tractor's 3 point linkage is cat2. I'm a beginner with our small farm, retired and 65 y. old. The PTO shaft cost 189€ (and the single row harvester from 50's or 60's 50€). Maybe a new shaft of 75€ would be enough. That which I bought is "size 6". That is enough even for 80-90 hp tractor.
