I don't have a good way of memorizing these things; for me, what often works better is to work through the process so I see how things fit together, which then helps me remember how they fit together. When it comes to the inverse trigs, I find it illuminating to take the derivative and then express it in terms of the original function. For example, if y = tanx, then dy/dx = (secx)^2 = 1 + (tanx)^2 = 1 + y^2 . Notice that, if you rearrange the equation, you get dx = dy / (1 + y^2), and if you integrate that, you've got the inverse tangent integral.

I love your tricks! Having watched your trick videos, I didn't find tricks for ∫1/[√(x²+a²)] dx ∫1/[√(x²-a²)] dx ∫1/(x²-a²) dx ∫√(a²-x²) dx. Does there have any tricks for them?
