I got a chuckle from your "Tough Crowd" comment! 😀 I think the pumpkin in the thumb nail, was achieved with Mirror Effect Spray Paint, Vanessa mentions it in the video.

You could put a skewer through the pumpkin which would give you a way to hold it while painting, then just stick it into a piece of foam to dry.

Thanks! That’s where I was stuck... how to hold it without ruining the paint. I’ve got lots of DT skewers! That should work perfectly.

I think,Vanessa, It was adorable and the mercury glass pumpkin came out spot on! The operative word was "effect". It was amazing that you used a foam ORANGE color pumpkin and it came out looking like that!! Fantastic job! Pay no mind to those that think it wasn't ! Arlene

I use Mason jar lid rings to stand my paint projects on to dry etc.

Awesome my friend. I’ve done the mercury glass effect on mason jars and they look so pretty with a string of fairy lights inside...especially at night. It never crossed my mind to do it on one the foam pumpkins 🎃. Sure is a lot cheaper than buying one from Home Goods or Michaels. Thanks for sharing and the great easy to follow directions and ideas 💡. 😘. 💕💝🎃🍂🍁👻☠️💀... lol

@@amykelly933 yeah me too but at $3-$4 more than Dollar Tree lol I shop @ 4 dif Dollar Tree stores coz some carry a few items other Dollar Trees don't, and some are slower on selling certain items than others.

Love your finished grouping. When spraying, or painting foam pumpkins, push a long skewer through it and push the bottom of skewer into a brick of floral foam!

Great idea using this technique . This is an old technique to make paint look like it has rain drops on it. I have done it in the past. I really like how it looks and is very simple to do. Airbrushing and spray painting techniques Some are so simple to do yourself compared to what an custom painter would charge.

I put 6inch dowel stick or a skewer when painting my pumkins I also you the looking glass spray paint too for my glam pumkins. I love you ideal more it saves alot of money . thanks for your video
