Thank you for this video. I am going to try to merge my cc today. I am thinking I should go through and fix all the duplicates and conflicts before I do this. My game starts up very slow, and has been very laggy lately. I am playing in a big custom world right now, so I know that is half the problem. I think I will just make a whole backup copy of my mods folder before I merge my CC so if something goes wonky, I can just replace that folder again. Wish me luck.

Hi thank you for this updated version of merging cc for the sims 3 its really helpful. One question that I have is that if you by any chance want to unmerge your cc for the sims 3 how would we go about doing that?

Is it safe to merge packages that are used by a saved sim? I was reading a comment on someone else's old tutorial that said once they merged packages, some hair had disappeared. I think I need to merge more packages because it's still pretty slow but I am afraid to do any more because then it will make the CC vanish and I don't know what all I used so it will be difficult to reapply.

Merge cc is literally transforms sims 3 files into packages or it’s something different?

When you merge the cc, all its doing is condensing the cc into a smaller file...It's not a drastic change but it's something. I don't know if I'm making any since. I will be making another video going into greater detail soon.

I also have this issue, can someone help me out please (Edit): Nvm I figured it out, for anyone who comes across this and is wondering how to fix it first click on file and click on ‘New’ then you’ll be able to right click and carry on from there

Its ok, I'm going to re-make this video again.. I just have some things going on in my personal life right now.. but dont worry I will have it out soon...
