Incredibly helpful video. I'm a frontend developer and I stopped using Wordpress a long time ago so I wanted to migrate an older blog to next.js. You saved me so much time by showing me the best CMS to use

I like the idea and personally prefer using React to something like wordpress. The problem in my case would be replicating the style as I bought the wordpress theme! I would use something like Material UI but would probably take a long time to get it exactly the same. And I wouldnt know where to start with the nice animated call to action area in my wordpress theme! Thanks for the info by the way, much appreciated.

Yes, the themes in WordPress make it very easy. The "by hand code" effort has to be justified.

bro, I am having a problem, that is I have exported WordPress data in XML type, and I am using strapi , as my cms, and now I am not able to upload the file because the XML file has HTML data in it, do you have any idea about it

The Cosmic Wordpress extension works terribly. Nothing goes in the right section, and doesn't import the media files. How did you tackle this?

After I ran the cosmic extension, I downloaded the JSON to my computer and then ran my own scripts to correct the JSON. And then uploaded that JSON with the Cosmic import option

Interestingly enough not really, maybe 10%, but it's hard to say if it's because of the speed change or not.

@@SamFromaway man I'm having second thoughts now.. haha I have underestimated the amount of work to rebuild the frontend.. rebuild everything in react from scratch vs buying a theme and configuring wp in a day. 😢
