Morning. Watching for the 2nd time. Our cloud mix is similar. I'm going to try yours. I use less Floetrol, but am open to new recipes as this came out soooo awesome! Do you think your pm makes a big difference? Only because I have so much leftovers from just Floetrol and paint right now. I'm not shooting for perfection or a Dwight pour..he nails it..but just some interest... Thanks for sharing your videos as I like the style.

I just spent the afternoon testing different paints. Some work, some don’t. But the old leftover bloom cell activator seems to work!! No more waste!! Yay!!

Did you put eater in blue psint?
@possumbold3 жыл бұрын
If you put too much base on it’s ok to tip the extra back into your cup, rather than waste it. It looks as though the blue is thinner than the white in the first part as it clearly sinks.The cells look very pearl like - great effort! It has a lot of depth. Simple is good.

The question. Does bear exterior satin enamel with primer work as the satin enamel

Yes and no!! Lol 😂 it gives more pearls than clouds. But it does work. Play with the water ratios to see what works best for you.

Get those amazing sales do you know how long I’ve been trying to do this and I can’t do it I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but it’s obvious that I am doing something wrong I just can’t figure it out. Are you so tall maybe a little bit of water I send out the paint I do the same thing with the color paint and when I try to do this nothing happens absolutely nothing, LOL. It’s just very frustrating for me
@sherryburka48403 жыл бұрын
I dont mean to be a pain,but so frustrated with my attempts. Your cloud mix has 4 ingredients (not including water) with 3 ratios. Please confirm ratio for each. I Love the mix of cells and white space and avoiding silicone etc and do NOT have AU floetrol. Relly Looove your result.
@gratefulcreations3 жыл бұрын
Thanks sherry!! I use 1:1 ratios of artist loft flow white and Decoart satin enamels generally 3oz each. Mix that up really well. Then I add 6oz of Floetrol and just a small squirt of GAC800, maybe 1 tsp. Then gradually add water to thin so it doesn’t leave a trace. I hope this helps. I’m really bad at using ml or grams. This is easier for me. ❤️❤️❤️
@towardsthelight4919 Жыл бұрын
@@gratefulcreations I love your painting ! 😍....Could you also please clarify the pouring medium recipe because it’s a bit confusing in your description ..for the cloud mix it says 5:2 :1 with water to thin but now you’re saying ARTIST loft one to one plus double the floetrol and a squirt of Gac maybe you should do a video on how you mix your paints ? I’m sure everyone would love to see that 🙏
@peterhoareartist2 жыл бұрын
Michelle, loved this video, thank you so much for its clarity and usefulness. What do mean by ‘trace’? Is it to do with consistency of the paint, meaning that the paint in a cup is thin enough when drips from a stick mix instantly on hitting the paint in the cup, and don’t form a ‘hump’ on the surface even for a second or two? Such a difficult process, this determination of consistency. I believe the comparative method of putting drops of each colour and base paint on a piece of paper and then tilting to check relative speeds/distances which they run is as good a check as any so far I have tried. Thank you!
