How to compute the BTC it will mine based on more than 1 GPU?

In phoenix miner you can press H for help in console. P will pause miner and pressing P again will resume, pressing 1 will turn off mining gpu 1, pressing 2 will turn of mining on gpu2. Hug from Portugal! :)

Thanks a lot dude! FYI : Also works on Claymore. Now I can just disable GPU1 when I want to play without having to restart the whole thing and losing progress on shares (althoug DAG file still stays in VRAM)

@@mKhalifa218 Hi. I did run 2 x 1660 supers in my desktop case for a couple of months but the heat was too much and needed to open case. Eventually bought a small open air mining frame and have 3 x 1660 supers in there with an older GTX 770 left in the Desktop for basic PC gaming :)

OMG you save my life today bro. I just know now that you have to insert on the primary pcie slot 1st with the riser, so that u can add more gpu"s. At 1st try connected on small slot didnt work with riser. Thank You and God Bless.

Amazing video! Very helpful! Thanks for sharing. I saw some people saying that is not secure to mine in your main pc using Phoenix miner for example. So I had created another profile in my pc just for start the mining and when I start the Phoenix bash, I don't need to start as administrator and its working fine. What do you think? It could be a good tip create antoher profile on pc that is not an administrator just for mining and than I can use my pc for work, play games and others things? Thanks a lot for the video!

Thank you A LOT. Just 2 questions. I'm about to recieve a second graphic card. Do the two of em have to be linked to the motherboard with risers or just one of them? I mean, can I leave my "main" card in the pcie main slot and add the second one with a riser, or not? I'm just begining mining with Phoenixminer and it looks like a pain in the ass for switching cards (if I understood well, we have to shut down and re-open the soft any time we want to stop a card to mine, right?). So my second question is: is Kryptek as efficient as Phoenix for eth? Again, thank you a lot!

This is the best video I came across so far. I failed have a 3060ti as a main and 5700 as a secondary, gave up after many tries. Will attempt a 3060ti and 1660 super mix .

I was looking for a vid like this, I'm an old retired programmer, but, was unfamiliar with crypto mining & I build my own PC's so I had a pair of 1660 Supers & a 1660TI kicking around plus I was planning on building a new machine, but, with GPU availability was having trouble getting my hands on a 3070, then I got doubly lucky when I got one from New Egg & no sooner did I get it than one I ordered from a local vendor & forgot to cancel came in & I decided to get it anyway, so now to pay for these I thought I do a little mining & this was the first vid I came across that talks about multiple cards, Thanks...

Is there some reason why when I have everything connected properly, and both gpus are running and all accessories are powered up, that when I go to start the pc it doesn't boot? it posts up I think, but I never get to the login screen. Help plz.

Great video, I just have one question. If you do have a 750w psu(like myself) powering my current gpu and the rrst of my pc, can I instead use a second psu to power the second gpu exclusivley? This would be more cost efficient than upgrading my psu in my case, but I'm not sure if it's possible.

Hi! I just added an additional 1080 to my pc. With one I get about 30 mh/s. however, with both, I only get about 11mh/s on each. Any help fixing the problem?

Hi mate. Your videos have been brilliant as has your website OC settings. Just my 3090 is hitting temps of 110degC while mining etherium. Have you heard of these high temps? Do you think they are ok for 24/7 at this temp?

well i'm not him but a 3090 does not do to well at 110C, its up to you but you can copper mod it. it'll be hard but easy at the same time just make sure you do it right and you can get temps down a solid 15 or more in decreasing in temps.

hello man great video ,i have a question i just bought Gigabyte Z590 UD which have (1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIEX16) 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x4 (PCIEX4) ... can i use gpu riser on the 2nd pcie slot x16 (which running at x4)? will it give same perfomance like the 1st pcie x16?

Great video! And your website is awesome aswell! :) I had like a RTX 2080 Ti and a RX 560 in my gaming PC before. But the airflow was little bit limited sadly. Now I only have one RTX 3080. 2080 Ti is in a dedicated mining rig and the RX 560 sits in a HTPC (that ofcoz also mines on both CPU & GPU) :D

I have a question, how can I get video from the sencond card so I can use it for work and watch videos and only do mining with the principal? When I watch a video while mining the hashrate drops. I have a Z490 MSI motherboard and I activated the 4G option in the BIOS but when I connect my monitor to my second GPU I don't get video. I don't want to switch the cards because sometimes I want to use the mining card for gaming and I want to have it on the First PCI slot and I can't game with the other GPU because it is and old one. My CPU doesn't have onboard graphics, help please

I have a 750 evga power supply one primary 3070 ti and the second is 1070ti. When i m power on the pc it does nothing, some leds swich on and off immediately. Then i have to unplug everything, switch off the psu and then starts normally with the primary only. Do i need a bigger psu?

Your channel is so helpful man, thank you! I was wondering if u knew if a 650W PSU is enough to power a RTX 2060 and a GTX 1660 Super. I read that minimum requirements were 500W and 450W respectively. Does that mean I should get minimum of 950W? What are the risks anyway?

That should be enough for sure! the requirements are in terms of a gaming system. If your rocking like a threadripper or a really high end cpu then getting a bigger psu is wise. although those 2 nvidia cards dont use much power when they mine so your set

Is it possible to mine with 1 gpu only and use another one for gaming or anything else? My idea is to have a 3070 to mine on and keep my 2080 as my primary gaming gpu but both in the same PC. Is that possible without hindering the hashrate of the 3070?

@3.02 mine shows up dark i cant turn it off or on but it stays on .. i have tired using a 4way splitter and a pci-e board and it crashes windows hard with files missing and leaving me with one monitor usable

When I enable crypto currency mode in pci advanced settings it then won't boot to windows, just boots to bios everytime. I have msi click 5 bios.

what do i need to do to establish recognition on my asus zenith trx40 mb so that i can use two slots for mining while my main gpu is for regular usage? when i install them all at the same time i get a vga bios code and it refuses to boot

Hi mate, Thanks a lot , i love watching your videos! I have 2 x 3080ti mining on a gigabyte x570 aorus pro wifi motherboard and the CPU is 3900x , i have 2 PSU , 1) RM850watts to power the top 3080ti and the rest of the hardwares ; 2) a second 750watts PSU power the bottom 3080ti. I have a problem of not able to mine stablely for the 3080ti on the top slot no matter how do i tweak the OC setting , it keeps triggering the LHR... while the bottom card was mining normally. I also tried to swap the bottm one to the top and the result was the same... Do you have any ideas what may go wrong with my setting ?

Please help! I have an MSI x570 MB. I have a 3080 Fe and a 3070. When I both them both on the MB they work just fine but I can't mine on both even under clocked as the terrible 3080 cooler overheats the card. I've tried to put the 3070 out of the case using a riser and it reads sometimes but never works, sometimes freezes the system with no display. Tried 2 different risers, no luck. Switched on mining mode in bios, but the bios doesn't have settings for individual pcie lanes to change Gen (only on the main slot). Thanks in advance

I had 2 RTX 3070 plugged directly into the motherboard but it got hot. Got PCI Express Risers. Usb to card to the motherboard. PCI wires to risers to power the risers. PCI to the tops of the GPUs to power them. Got my HDMI cable from my monitor to my motherboard but now get no signal to the monitor. Help?

So I have a asus tuf gaming x570 and when I use 2 or more riser or 1 on the mobo and 1 riser my screen turn black. What fix can I use to power 3 card. Most I can make it work is to use bo riser and to gpu on the mobo. Or if I use 1 riser it worm but 2 or more it doesnt.

I have an RTX 3090 and a 2070 Super on an 850W power supply do you think I should upgrade or I should be ok? my 3090 only consumes 350w and the super was at around 200w I recall. What do you think.

Please help! I have a rx580 and I added a rx470 as a 2d card, when I plug in the 2d card the pc refuses to post. I am running them both into the motherboard just to test until my risers get here

Update: managed to get 2 nvidia cards running on my fx-6300 using an old gigabyte blue bios motherboard. Waiting on a riser splitter to get the other 2 cards running. I’d like to also thank you for your power supply video, saved me money and time trying to get a 1000w power supply in the UK where there isn’t much availability not to mention the price being 4x as much as a server psu. Learnt how to start mining in 2015 from how much bitcoin, then bits be tripping and your videos have really helped over the past few months. Keep up the good work!

Going to be running two EVGA 3080 ti’s. I’m using NBminer right now, but might move to kryptec miner. It Seems very easy to turn on and off the GPUs when gaming. Question is, I set my over clocking on the GPUs but do I need to do it in the NBminer as well?

what if i put the 3gpu in the 3pcie Slots available without using the riser ? is that possible ? if my Mobo has 3/4 Pcie Slots , in case the Computer is Built just for Mining , No Gaming Included

Awesome video!!! Lately I’ve been having issue with my mining rig and driver timeouts. 4x 5700xt and 1 5600xt. Running in windows 10 (64). Was running like this for about a month with no issues at all. Now I can’t even run more than an hour unless I just remove the 5600xt from the system then it resumes its stability. Tried ddu with redownloading the drivers with no luck. I think my next step will be to add the 5600xt to the gaming pc with the 6800 in it and see if that’s stable or not...... or just download hiveos and take windows out of the equation, but that’d probably be too simple and would drive me crazy enough 😂🤷♂️😂

Hahaha HiveOs would be an easy fix but I think this is mainly oc settings on your 5600 xt . Make sure you put the proper undervolts and oc from miningchamber.com!

@@MiningChamber will do. Currently running 800mv 1300 core 1820 mem. Just weird how the 5600xt has been mining since the end of January on those. Hopefully it’s still good to go 😬

I have a Dell G5000 that came with a 500w power supply. Im powering 1 GTX 1660 super and looking at adding another one for mining. If my current (dell) power supply wont handle both, could I power a riser card with the 6 pin from the Dell PSU and then power the new GPU with an external PSU? Just wondering if that's ok to do.

i have a gaming pc with a 1650 super right now but i also a rtx 2060 12GB card i bought can i put both in my pc and use the 1650 for gaming and the 2060 for mining ?? Or just use both for mining is that possible ??
