We found a fix to the black signs and an updated tutorial should be coming out very soon

Alright a quick note to everyone, don't ask for help in this video if you run into problems with the signs appearing black in game. As i said in the video, there hasn't been a fix for this yet but as soon as i found out a fix then i'll make an updated video as fast as i can. When I double click on a texture in caketools I don't see image preview just a place holder icon. Things export fine just cant preview what I'm trying to export. Anyone else have this issue?

Honestly for me the black signs aren't what's popping up alot for me every sign even the default ones

Is it safe to assume that this will work the same for 2K23 given how close their structure is?

If the signs look black in game, the dds file needs to be created using Compressonator with the correct settings, including generating mip maps. I'm testing settings for crowd signs as well, but have so far focused on fixing textures and materials on props like Vader's helmet, Paul Bearer's urn, and currently on Undertaker's bike. The DDS file format supports a variety of compression settings which 2K22 is very particular about, especially when it comes to the lighting and shaders.

Can you make a tutorial that changing announcer name for the modded characters? Like Bryan Danielson, Thunder Rosa...

I have got the signs to stop appearing as black in game by choosing to not add mipmaps and compressing with 4x | BC3 (both are available with Photopea)

I'm pretty sure I might know your problem with the black textured boards in the game I am a modeler a graphic designer and a model and I find that when I'm motting in GTA5M sometimes I get similar problems when I'm putting textures on clothes and shoes and I do believe I may know how to solve this for you
