Thank you for this, need these instructions after receiving a rubber sheet!

I use Stamper's Best Foam which is thinner and easier to cut. Short strait snips are best. You can trim the rubber close then adhere it to the foam and use a hot knife tip on a wordburner to cut it (it really melts it) and that would work. I won't be as pretty as the die cut rubber you buy but it will work just fine;)

oh and I have had the stamps stay sticky backed for years with the same glue. just make sure to let it dry before using or storing;)

wash your stamp back well with dawn to remove any grease then try the Aleens Tack It again. Also make sure it is completely dry on the stamps before using or the glue will transfer to your blocks;)

Instead of tack it glue I use two sided carpet tape. It works great

I also use the stampers best cling foam. I use to use the Tim Holtz scizzors to cut when I remount wood stamps but they kept getting gummed up with sticky. If you have a heat knife (is that what they call it?) that works so much better. I can get pretty close when I use the hot knife.

I have a hot knife in my creative hot marks kit, I use it to cut foam board, I'll have to try that way too!

Aleens Tack It glue (Tack It Over & Over) it will stay sticky, I lamanate a shhet of cardstock nas punch it for a abinder and stick it to that for storage;)

I’ve been cutting RIGHT up to that raised edge so absolutely zero of the matrix rubber is left. Is that bad? I find it harder to exacto them out of the EZ mount but the prints are so much cleaner

I have been using tack-it over & over sense it came out it works great on a lot of things. I also like what gossamerwings87 said about using carpet tape.

hello Lindsey, I just bought a bunch of used rubber stamps. but some of them are bowed, how to flatten them back out? please please HELP! many of my favs r bowed

I unmounted some stamps from their wood blocks (to conserve space) and used the Tack it Over and Over but found that the adhesive wouldn't stay stuck to some of the rubber stamps after it dried. The adhesive came off on the blocks and I could rub over it and peel it off the whole stamp. Seemed to be a certain kind of rubber that would do this. Any advice?

And one so large - how would you store such large stamps? Also - how long would the glue last, and would you remove the old glue (if so how) before applying new? Thanks again - Julie
