1 of my old time favorites! Nice to have the 2 trails on the climb from Oyster creek in clockwise...makes it complete! Used to start there and up past Plasses to Summit at the Summer track then left. 32 mile loop. Brutal ohv, cow country and back then..it was necer as good as Now! 💪

Did you know an old local hero ski jumped off of Thunder mntn? Many years ago, he was a friend named Paul Ruff. Unfortunately he did not make it. The community was devastated. All is old face rats knew him. He was a Kirkwood guy. Miss Pauly.. There is a sign up there that commemorates him..

So did you go up and down Horse Canyon Trail (Upper) to Horse Canyon (Lower) after the turning off of the Thunder Mountain Trail? I

No I haven't gone up to the top of horsetail canyon trail and then all the way back down just done it as a loop

advice! On ebikes which direction would you recommend? Counter or clockwise

I always ride it clockwise. It gives you the best downhill. 👌
