In this video today we will see how to move photos to the SD card in your android device. If you have already taken photos and saved in the android device then you can move it to the SD card so that you can make space free in your android device.
For that one we will need a File explorer app with which you can access your phone’s storage. In my note 8 I have “My Files” with which I can access my phone’s storage.
I will go to “Samsung” folder.
I will open “My Files”.
I will select “Internal storage”.
Scroll down and look for “DCIM” folder.
Now we can do two things we can either entirely move all the photos to the SD card or we can select individual photos to the SD card.
If I have to move all the pictures then I will tap and hold the “camera” folder which will select the folder.
Then I will tap on the “Move”.
Now go tack by pressing the back arrow.
Again tap on the back arrow.
Select “SD card” and then select “Move here”.
For me I will move only a picture, so I will select “cancel”.
I will go back.
I will again tap on “internal storage”.
Scroll down and select “DCIM”.
Select “camera”.
Tap and hold the picture which you want to move.
Once selected, tap on “move”.
Select back arrow. Again select it until you see th SD card.
Select “SD card” and then select “move here”.
Now you will see the photo is moved to the SD card.

Go in settings Click to apps Then click to storage Ull get to see options to change

I could not for the life of me find that damn interface without knowing it was the my files icon I knew exactly what the interface was cause my old phone you got to it directly from the settings panel but the fact Samsung moving it into a separate thing stumped me Thanks alot i only needed to know where to find the damn thing

Dear Kundan I have Galaxy A71 5G Android / SM-A716U its not transferring all DCIM / pictures / Vdos / docs etc to my internal storage SD cards neither allowing me to make SD card 128 GB as Default the way you explained steps and procedures not working only I could transfer 7Gb DCIM /pl advise thanks

I moved several photos /hope it free up my phone. It won't sync. I deleted every email I had.all of them by mistake. Then it said? IT WONT SYNC. I was sure I'd created space then. I'll see in a sec. Thanks!
