Your husband is something special! Every little detail planned out for you! I've been married 25 years, together 33 and never once have I had a trip planned for me or had anything ever like this. I can't even imagine what it's like to just show up somewhere like this and enjoy yourself. Not to mention your husband seems so loving and kind. You are a lucky lucky lady!

Ok Jack gets all the points!!!!! Well done. I went to England for my honeymoon and stayed in castles and Manor houses. My husband had flowers and wine and a surprise at every one. You two are so cute together. I would love to visit Charleston.

Cutest couple ever. You two are infectious. So happy for you. Literally been married for 30 years and only have gone on 3 vacations ever-one including our honeymoon. Working, running a business and a forever child makes it a challenge to get away.

Mine too but I need to find a better route than 95 thru SC. Drove it a couple weeks ago going to visit family in GA and felt like my car’s tires and suspension were being destroyed. 😖

If you go to Charleston I recommend going to Savannah and Beaufort too. Beaufort is an old southern town untouched by the civil war. You can see the beautiful homes and stay in historic Inns . They have lovely waterside dining .

I recently realized I love the “French Contemporary” aesthetic and many things French. After learning French in school so many years ago this should not come as a surprise, mais oui, it does. Always love your videos and especially enjoy seeing the laughter when you and Jack interact. You are like little kids with new toys.

We live in WV but absolutely love Charleston. We try to go a couple of times each year. The history, beautiful gardens and homes, the shops make it a perfect getaway…and the fact it is so close to the beach doesn’t hurt either. Great video!

A few years ago I went to Charleston and stayed at the Dewberry. Fabulous place and I still remember their signature fragrance. Divine! We went on the home and garden tours in the Springtime as well as a historical walking tour. Highly recommend visiting Charleston.

We were in Charleston early May and stayed at The Meeting Street Inn…so much history! We had a direct flight from Nashville…great city to stroll around! Looks like y’all had an awesome time!

I'm having a moment living this thru you guys! One of my good friends and former clients now lives in Charleston. Sadly we are both in a season of caregiving which never makes for fun getaways but at some point I look forward to walking the same streets and exploring the gardens myself. We have done some long distance decorating but nothing beats the real thing! Thanks for taking us along...the next best thing!

I lived down town Charleston, I love that city and I even met my French husband there. If you adore Charleston you’ll also enjoy visiting Laguna Beach, it’s ‘Charleston -esque.’ I didn’t live there, but it was a weekend family destination. Another Charleston-esque place is the Basque Country sea side. What I love about those 3 places are their small quaint beauty. How do they fit so much style and Grace into a tiny place is beyond amazing!

I am european and I find Charleston just as New Orleans quintessentialy american! It does not look like any place in Europe to me at all! My bucket list destination in the US is Palm Springs.

So cool to see y'all in my neck of the woods. My two favorite cities in the US are Charleston SC & Newport RI - which are very similar. You guys would love Newport and visiting the "Guilded Age" mansions. The Dewberry is a fantastic property and Chucktowns culinary scene is second to none.

You have inspired me to make reservations at the Dewberry in Charleston, SC for a short getaway vacation. Background FYI: my mom and dad just remarried at 82 years of age 💕 after being divorced for 50 years. I am 56 years old and am going on vacation with my parents (and hubby too) for the first time ever, hopefully not the last. I even pre-ordered the Dewberry candle as a way to invite them! Thanks for the inspiration!
