@@maurice7017 seeing as how pen is a generic term for all kind of pens (ballpoint, fountain, rollerball, gel etc.) Lilly Cookies is correct in the assumption that the child would be called Ballpoint Pen. (Pen=Stift, Kugelschreiber=Ballpoint Pen).

I think calling these jokes-or any jokes for that matter- offensive or that they "offend" people is too broad and vague. It covers jokes that aren’t offensive or are or simplifies them. (ex:sex jokes, potty humor, etc.) It’s also unsuitable for jokes that would be more appropriately named just gallows, racist, etc. Offensive also can apply to all jokes anyways... you’re always going to offend someone, always. (not to mention how often humor is incorrectly labled "edgy/dark/offensive" and is super overused as well.) The groups being poked fun at in this video comprise of races and ethnicities. There are different negative consequential outcomes that result from making fun of ethnically german people vs ethnically Japanese/Thai people and their culture, some individual, some systemic. It really depends on the context, how the joke is received, the messages/ideas you want to be sending to your audience, and overall consequences.
