This shows that the best way to innovate in music is by NOT sticking yourself only into an already existing genre (which has already developed), but to instead innovate from your favorite parts of multiple genres, artists, and music, bringing them together into something new and exciting.

I feel like for new jazz you should avoid having the second clap hit only the same 3 as the first clap and try different spots to give it a different bounce. Also, don’t be afraid leave a little more space in your hi hat patterns. The house breakdown was so sick though I gotta try that in my next new jazz beat🔥🔥
