it’s okay, it’s all snake oil, mostly just water and some ingredients. you only really need a toner, serum (not water based), facial cleanser. that’s all

pro tip: if you're applying serums, especially thick ones, apply them at LEAST 1 hour before bed. If you apply and go right to sleep, you're wasting product and it has no time to really settle into the skin. from an adult acne sufferer.

plus it helps if you keep your bed or places you sit in clean, wash your sheets and pillows(plushies, anything in bed etc.) then put it back, it helps since ur wasting product by that and the product goes on your dirty bed etc.

It helps to do a double cleanse, like demonstrated here, to get the SPF off of your face so your pores don't get clogged.

I use a rule. I only do as much skincare as I can juggle. I saw this one girl use too much stuff at once and she got really bad acne. So yeah. It's been working pretty well so far.

You don’t need all this true me. We have sensitive skin in South Asia and things like removing makeup using coconut oil, basic face lotion and SPF is all you really need and my skin is clear! Just look at the pimples on her face

If you acne or trying to get clean skin while having a bit of pimple and blackheads, sometimes the best products you can use are a cleanser, an extra product weather its a acne spot treatment or an eye cream or whatever and then moisturiser last. I've been doing this for a couple weeks now and my skin is still rough, but a lot better than a couple months ago

What I do (as I'm broke) I just wash my face with face wash then dry my face a Lil and spray rose water (rose water is really good for skin) and then I just apply my face cream

after you apply the paula’s choise bha toner you have to wait 20-30 minutes or hour to apply your moisturizer.

Every moisturizer I've ever used had dimethicone, which basically seals off your skin. This is the first time I've seen oil as a last step

For anyone wondering, look into whether your face oil is emollient or occlusive. Rosehip seed oil is emollient, so it comes before occlusives like moisturizer.

Some of these product can be on sale for $2-7 dollars with the exception of the exfoliator. I’m sure you can find something that fits ur price point

You don’t need all those products. Start with a cleanser, one treatment, then moisturizer. If you wear makeup, maybe consider getting an oil/balm cleanser too. Other than that, you don’t need more. The rest is just extra.

For me, using multiple high end products ruined my skin- and made my acne so much worse. I just use cetaphil moisturiser (not oil based), and a gentle fash wash (typically) cetaphil,,,as well as a medicated acne cream. If you have sensitive skin, or acne, this many products will typically do more harm then good. Spend your money on a good sunscreen, protecting your face from UV light is so important- it’ll help a lot with acne scars, and slow down aging. Make sure it’s one that doesn’t clog your pores.
