The deck is super fun, the only down side is some of the land base that isn't as optimal. Ex: gemstone caverns, ancient tomb, ect. I'd recommend maybe wheel of fortune as well

Definitely worth it! So much fun to play, very explosive and very resillient to board wipes / removal.

@@macces82 it's true it's super easy to rebuild just the turn after. The experience counters pile up real quick. By the time you get to 5 the game is typically ending there

@@whitein4 The only thing you probably never want to see with the deck is Otharri being targeted by a Darksteel Mutation without having any protection against it in hand. 🤣

@@macces82 Honestly super true. Haven't ever run into that situation yet but god if it get's imprisoned in the moon or something of that nature it's kinda doomed

Played this precon yesterday and used the bottom ability twice because people just forgot about it. They removed it at the end of the precombat main phase and by the end of the turn I’d have it back on the field. Very useful

Honestly i forget about it more than i should, the playgroups i play in typically they can't let him sit on board for longer than 3 turns. Board wipes are a higher showing than the single targeted removal so i don't think i've put him in grave more than once.

You saw the preconstructed commander deck „rebellion rising“? There it is the secondary commander and delivers a decent starting point for building around it

I do only run 11 of the non-land cards in that list. The list definitely isn't a terrible starting point, just depends on your play group
