If I had a nickel for every time I saw a t70 beat a panther I would have 2 nickels which isn't a lot but weird it happened twice.

@@huell938 There is story that a T-70 fired so many times it destroyed a Panther in real life. A. Pegov was a tank commander of a T-70 that destroyed Panthers

3 penal and 1 cons for merge It's hella great And also better merge Cons with penals cuz Conscript's reinforce cost is much cheaper

I found a good opening for a penal build is 1 conscript and 2-3 penals. The conscripts are useful for building cover and can also merge with the penals which is cheaper than reinforcing the penal squad. I have tested this and conscripts merged into a penal squad are just as good as regular penals at vet 0 at least. Also penals with PTRS work well with Guards for taking down vehicles. the Guards can button a vehicle giving the penals time to get in close to throw a sticky bomb. I use Guard Motor coordination tactics with this build and it typicaly goes Cons, 2 penals, Guards, T70, Upgrade 1 penal squad with PTRs, Heavy Mortar, Backtech to T2, Get a Zis, more guards, then aT34/85 and whatever other vehicles you need to counterbuild.

Building a scout car filled with penal or cons or guards is very effective to harass early wermacht or taking sout pioneers to capture points fast .. I remember causing too much damage to the enemy and keeping them busy dealing with the treat until my first armor arrived

Su76 can be nice to replace t-70 if okw go for light armour

Both T70 and Su76 win vs Flack Halftrack and Luchs and lose vs Puma. So you may as well go for T70 which is also better against infantry. Su-76 is a trash unit due to its accuracy being very poor, last time I tried it, it missed 4 times in a row. It's getting an accuracy buff in the next patch so hopefully then it will be viable.

So I've never played a CoH game, have some experience against bots in DoW2 but that's it. Have seen some live streams of CoH 3 and am interested in checking out this series but have heard to get 2 instead of 3. What should I buy and what DLC for it?

I haven’t bought the 3rd yet, but you can’t go wrong with 2 either way. From what I understand currently 3 has some major issues and most people have gone back to 2. I would say just try it out without DLC first.

it is not possible to play against expert German AI with allied force....before I get my AT gun out, the expert AI be rushing me with PZ4 and 1 minute later they be rushing me with panthers. on the other hand if you play German against expert AI allied, feels like on easy mode.

A quick questions for the penal build question1 : can I give my penals ppsh in short to medium areas or give all squads ptrs upgrade with ppsh(they are still)if I go airborne question 2:do I give 1 squad a ptrs upgrade cause you didn't mensen an at gun

Yes, you can give Penals PPSh'. You can build a new Penal squad and equip them with PTRS', I dont recommend giving PTRS to a vetted/old unit

For 1) Depends on the map. Close quarters maps, PPHs will make your infantry excel. For open range maps like Red Ball, maybe just give one or two the upgrade so you still have long range infantry. 2) No. I'd grab an AT Gun over the upgrade

for1:can I give the penals ppsh and the ptrs (they re still good fighting infantry) for2: I meant to give one of my penals the 4th one a ptrs so that I can hurt armor and bring it to half heath and hurt it s engine so that my at gun or my su-85 t34 or any at units can make sure to eliminate it without having risk of taking tomany casualties cause the penals with ptrs are a suicide squad and that s not me who's saying it s the penals them self I have a point right.

@@SquidReacts74 1. No, either PPSh or PTRS 2. Not sure what you mean. You can only have 3 PTRS' per Penal battalion. PTRS doesnt do that much damage as Bazookas or Panzerschrecks, but Penals can throw satchels that stick on vehicles that do quite a lot of damage

I'm unsure what you mean? In like custom games? An unusual request but I'd go with the Support opening and then grab a Katyusha. For something like a priest, a T-34 dive might remedy that type of arty.

Isn't it a bit of, you know, contradiction? You need elite infantry to fight mainline non elite infantry. 11:08 - bad advice. It is better to not upgrade all penals, rather than - do not ptrs - they are bad. While yes - PTRS on penals and cons are useless against infantry - AT satchel is your best weapon against all vehicles, even during late game. Remember - AT satchel always kills engine. It needs no penetration, nor it cares for amount of HP - be it panzer 4 or King Tiger - Engine critical is 100%.

Filler; Tier 1 Building >> Sniper >> Scout Car >> Penals >> Choose a Spicy Experience; (-) Just Garlic and Black Pepper; Conscript >> Tier 2 Building >> Conscript >> AT/Molotov Upgrade >> Any Tier 2 Unit (+) Just put what you have in hand ; Penals >> Tier 2 Building >> Any Elite Infantry >> Any Infantry Upgrade >> Any Tier 2 Unit (Elite or not) (+) Green Chili; Penals PTRS Upgrade >> Conscript >> Tier 2 Building >> Any Tier 2 Unit >> Any Tier 2 Unit (At least one AT Gun) (++) Red Chili; Engineers Flamethrower Upgrade >> Conscript >> Engineers >> Tier 3 Building (+++) The GG Conga Express ; 1x or 2x Elite Infantry >> 2x Any Close Combat Upgrade >> Tier 3 Building >> Half-Track & Load it x2 Upgraded Infantry >> Find a way behind enemy lines & annihilate equipment >> Flee Ok, this last one i dont use it that much because more often than not compromise the game of my teammates, but it's so much fun when works. It's start in another way; (++++) Going Full Turbo ; Tier 1 Building & Engineers >> Fuel Supplies Emplacement >> Tier 1 Building >> 2x Scout Cars >> Engineers >> 2x Scout Cars >> Upgrade Any Infantry >> Scout Car >> Any Infantry Upgraded >> Spam Scout Cars until it fails (5 at Max, 4 are manageable in combat). I don't mind that much if they are viable but brings me joy when i try execute them. :)
