I work for the company that is the official accredited Samsung repair company in the UK and this is definitely not the way to remove the back cover . The phone is placed in an oven set at the correct temperature for a set amount of time and softens the glue holding it in place, once soft the rear cover is removed. To replace the rear cover a glue gasket is fitted to the phone and the phone is placed in the oven to soften the gasket and then the back cover is then fitted.

how would water go inside the phone if it is that glued? I mean, I have my phone that I forgot to take out from my pocket while entering the pool. I can see the water entering because the camera is wet...been 24hrs since then.

It bends really easily though. It's thin and big and the plastic gives no support. It bends like paper.

Samsung 2014: Makes IP67 water resistant S5 with simple click-in back case for easy battery removal. Why? Because that's what customers want. Samsung 2019: Makes A50 with absolutely zero water resistance, but with heavily glued back panel that takes great ammount of skill to open to prevent you from upgrading your battery. The back panel is plastic so it's likely to get damaged when attempting to open it. Why? Because f*** you, that's why.

Took off the case with nothing but a sewing needle and a tooth-peck, just replaced the sticker afterwards and its back on. No need for a damn heat gun that not everyone has.

no. It's okay if you accidentally flip some drops of water on it. But exactly no water resistance, don't ever test, it surely can't handle a water bucket.
