I'm sitting here eating and listening to your awesome advice. When you brought up the idea of feeding animals on a Saturday, that made me think about what I did last night or should I say around 4 this early Sunday before dawn during my last break at work. I just had the urge to get some chips and a brownie. I went outside to eat my snacks and chill. All of a sudden, as I sat down, this brown pitbull came around the corner of the building where I was. The dog approached me as I was eating. I gave the dog most of my chips and some water I had. That dog was hungry. I gave thanks to the spirits because that was divine timing to feed that dog. Ase.

Thank you Adunola. It’s super crazy how Sunday is the day of fresh beginnings and breaking family cycles because today, which is Sunday, me and some family members were able to talk about certain dysfunctions that go on and try to make solutions to those problems. Some people aren’t willing to change their character and I can accept that but, I’m glad I and my fam got to express our pain because healing starts when you’re willing to face what you have been through. The sun shines not in the shade and I feel that things will get more brighter moving forward for myself and my family.

Can you talk about cemeteries?! I often go to the cemetery to get away from sitting at home. Lately I find flies in my home. I go to the same cemetery, hug my favorite tree there. Sit and listen to music then I go home. When I was homeless I would sleep there in my car. I mean no harm or discomfort to the spirits but the flies in my home lately are a bit disturbing.

Edit: I don’t know my ancestry as I am black in America, I had an ancestral alter but I left it at my old house as every plant I put on it died. Saturn in my 12th house so I know I have hidden enemies. I don’t know where to go on this journey. Seems like isolation from both the physical and spiritual realm is my best option 😢. I’m so lost

Wow! Why do you choose cemetery? Oya is related cemeteries if I'm not mistaken. I never want to lose contact with my spiritual team which includes my ancestors. Pray and ask them to help you and show you your enemies. Why would you want to leave the spiritual if you know you have hidden enemies? Start forgiving yourself, loving yourself, and know you are worth love, respect, and honor. Never lose faith, you need an anchor.

Thanks for the guidance. Can you give me some advice; I think my mom was supposed to do work associated with Ogun but didn't due to the taboo associated with it, though we never used the Orisha names in Jamaica....at least not to my knowledge. I think the job/work is now put in my hands. On the other hand, the dream is probably telling me to call on Ogun, he has helped me in the past, but I also have other dieties that I can call on. I think it's more the first though, someone gave me a new red and black bag and said it belonged to my mother. This same person had a machete earlier in the day....this is why I think the dream is pointing me to Ogun. What would you advice? Thanks.

IFA, Hoodoo, Vodu, Palomayombe, Israelites etc etc it all just depends on the timing. People can pray to Yahweh, write petitions, make jars, blow cinnamon at the door, go to the crossroads, quote Psalms, study Odu etc. Again it’s all about timing, whenever the Orisas, ancestors, Yahweh, the universe or whoever feels like making it happen, then it’ll happen at its timing. What I learned is that the simplest inexpensive and best effect is fasting for a few days and as you stated giving bc giving is the law of reciprocity. Has nothing to do with entities. Can give food, give advice like you’re doing, donate clothes to Goodwill, can’t find a child then charities are everywhere. But a person should give bc it’s the right thing to do, not bc they’re looking to get something back in return bc that means they didn’t give from the heart. Not knocking yo video bc it’s good for those it’s intended for but I been down the paths you’ve been down plus more and again, the best thing is fasting and giving.
