2:47 (scanning the arm in Turntable+Handheld mode), do I have to start the software in Turntable or in Handheld mode?

Is it possible to scan Warhammer figures or small stuff ? It's impossible to scan with CT-scan 01 that's why I'm looking for this one , and btw great video :)

Yes, it can scan Warhammer. CR-Scan Lizard is good at scanning small-size models. Thank you for giving us the inspiration to scan models like Warhammer. Maybe we can show the scanning process to you in our recent videos.

Can this be powered from a portable battery bank? It needs an addon dongle that lets it be used wirelessly without cable into main electricity or computer.

Yes, you can use power bank which the power supply is over 20W.

Anyone know when Creality will be shipping to backers or if we will get our money back! Nothing heard from the Creality team for ages since the legal dispute started. Feeling really let down. I have been a fan and buyer of creality products for years and to be treated like this is unforgiveable.

What is that upload to creality cload? Is that mandatory to use?! What if i don't want to upload to creality cloud? Will the scanner and software not work without creality cloud?

@@Creality3D I have one more question. Is there any technology difference inside betwen this lizard and the present CR-scan 01 you already have on sale?! Why would a client want to buy a "lizard"? I am looking to buy a scanner and want to be sure i don't buy wrong. In my country, it is a lot of money this sum, so I must not make a mistake. I see the cr-01 makes some light when scanning in some youtube reviews, and I do not see any light when this lizard is used. Is it good or bad? Thank you

Well, I feel like I've been "BONED"...After completing the Creality Kickstarter and waiting for shipment on the SCAM Lizard, I got a message that Kickstarter took them down because of a lawsuit... I'm losing faith that I'll ever see it! NOW THEY QUIT UPDATING ME!!!

If the price is no more than $350-375 American, I'm getting one! $400 is just too much for a toy. Please scan a coin and a wargames figure so we can see the result. Not everything we want to scan is fist-sized! And print them out at 300% or 400% size!

Since the last update of CRstudio2 v2.2..... Creality significantly reduced the resolution of this scanner... it's now scanning like a $30 scanner... don't update

Guys, this is really not helpful, we could figure this much out by not being morons. What we need in tutorial form is how to take the scans and manually align them, the advanced stuff, any tips that might help make better quality scans, etc

You would have a better chance trying to get a real Lizard to make a scan. I still lost a little bit of money getting refunded from Kickstarter. What a piece of crap. Took the refund money and put it towards an Iphone 13 Pro Max. The phone scans a lot better than the Lizard. This whole promotion turned out to be awful. Have completely lost faith in anything related to Creality. Ordered a filament dryer from Sovol and the level of customer service and follow up was amazing. If I want a new printer it will most likely be a Sovol. Didn't spend a whole lot of money on the filament dryer, and having a company send several emails asking if the dryer worked well and the package arrived safely is the sign of a company that is commited to making good customer service a priority.
