Im currently 18, and my mom is a truck driver and somehow got me an interview for 744k and 944k which freaked me out, I didn't know what too expect but I was honest and mentioned the fews ive learned from your channel and they said I had a good enough understanding that they would train me! Thank you so much, you're just an amazingly awesome channel, selfless with the goal of helping the equipment community, I hope everything goes your way forever. I mean I guess guys never grow up, our toys just get bigger!

Iam working in a quarry and normaly driving a Komatsu HD 605 truck. But during winter there are often ill co workers and often some machines are standing still over days because there is no one to operate them. So now I feel a little bit prepared if I am asked to operate a wheel loader for these days . Tank you! By the way, I´ve searched for the last three days to find videos about operating a wheel loader. There is absolutly nothing beside your channel!

I like renewing myself with equipment that im currently using , these videos are wonderful . There are several people & 3 actual operators that use our 2017 WA270 loader . My main use is uneven ground digging in compacted soil as in river rock & sand covering construction materials in a landfill not flat like most of your videos show. Could you or do you have these types of videos ?

Nice video and good explanation of techniques. I agree the material is really important on how you load. 1/3 to 1/2 widths (for cutting the fill out), if you want to level a really rough floor. But other than that, I can tell you have run loader for quite awhile.

Unlike when my dad was operating a loader, I didn't hear so much unnecessary bumps or jerking when you were operating this the machine. He really needs to watch this video and take a lesson from you. I also got to operate a Kawasaki loader when we were screening dirt, but I didn't notice any lock lever for the joy stick.

At the end of the day I park in a spot free space if possible and In the morning check for leaks usually loose fittings or something more serious! And when switching bucket I lift it high and curl the bucket to have the least amount of pressure on the lock pins and have a good view if they both close! Once one of the pin didn't close but I could push and hold it in place with a rag, sometimes in a major snowstorm all the other loaders are on the the road, As for the single pin if you work with heavy load you can see a slight twist of the bucket on one side almost unnoticable for the newcomer! As for the bucket on level not to dig I give a little lift to it just to be safe. Keep an eye on the blades of the bucket for wear mostly the side ones !

When I spread material going forward I put a 80-90% full bucket on the ground then open and raise my bucket at the same time anywhere from 6-10” off the ground (bottom of blade) and drive forward as I continue to open and raise my bucket at the same time to keep my blade height consistent. With good material on a somewhat level surface this will leave a beautiful pass especially if I back drag after I spread. 😉

I go in and once the bucket is in the dirt I slowly drive and slowly lift at same time to get the bucket right in and then curl the bucket up seems to work I went on a training course to get recruited for a roading project in NZ. You can also use a loader like a dozer.

Beginner here I'm working with what my instructor said is a M2 . Machine is good but old functions well . The thing I'm struggling with is getting a full load with the two levers on my right Bucket motion and rising and lowering the bucket . While getting a full buckets Not if I explained that but I'd like some pointers.

I am a road rescue technician and I have seen many people killed when a vehicle rolls over and they are ejected from the cab. If you are not in the cab the vehicle can role on you or you can just bounce around inside the cab and smash your head open. Or at the east break legs etc. The seat belt is your best friend. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mLGZa92js5esf5c.html

Not necessarily “automatic” but there are speed/hear settings. They are hydrostatic transmissions so not like changing gears on a car/truck.

Now don't get mad but What's with you and floating it the worst thing you can teach someone. If you finish grade a house and all you did was floating you'll have a houseboat because it's going to look like it on the ocean. I know you don't care but its not good to teach newbies. But all your videos are great they show a lot of what to do for beginners.
@HeavyMetalLearning
@HeavyMetalLearning 4 жыл бұрын
I think there is absolutely a time and place to backdrag using float. I'm not one of those "real operators never backdrag" camp. Otherwise, why does every manufacturer have float on the machine?
@douglashiggins5652
@douglashiggins5652 4 жыл бұрын
@@HeavyMetalLearning I think you ment to say is ( real operators don't backdrag.floating camp). In my 35 plus years of operating equipment I used the float one time someone put sand down my dipstick tube so I couldn't start up the engine. I then put the machine in float used a backhoe to pickup the bucket so I could get to the oil pan . It's the only time I used the float , I think that's why they have the float
