Don't know why I drive a forklift at work and come home to watch a bunch of forklift videos. Do I have the Forklift Fever?

Instead of the music it would of been much more helpful for the guy driving to tell you what everything he is pointing and touching actually IS.

Didn't actually do the other physical checks, tyres, forks damage, bodywork condition, raising mast to full height to check for leaks/wear, load bearing rear cage condition! Tbh not the best informative video!! Also should not be touching the controls whislt the truck is moving...handbrake & neutral then use the levers!!

Driving a forklift isn't hard at all. I currently drive a sit down clamp truck, and double fork. My trainer was very patient and made sure I knew everything before releasing me. I didn't have a trainer at my last job. I ended up failing, but I was bless with a better job. I started off as a temp, and now I'm going full time this week.

Brings back old memories :), drove a clamp truck for 19 of the 27 years I worked in newsprint mill in Newberg Oregon. Loved driving those things.

It's an old video but wth, I'll mention it anyway. That button on the second lever (from the left), your pitch lever, is to straighten your forks to true straight. That way there's no guesswork. You just tilt your forks all the way back, and as you tilt them back to the forward position, you keep your finger on that button. It will stop the forks when they are straight. It won't go any further when holding the button, so when it stops, that's when you know the forks are level. ✌️ Best of luck to anyone new out there. It's easier than you'd think.
