I would like to add: U-Jug is best with middle path and external camo detection Plasma Club can transform *20* monkeys (maybe more since last update), super monkey fan club is the one that can transform 10. Use him with stalling strategys for maximum ability uptime. Crossbow master is usually best with middle path but if you want to use him in late game, the extra pierce from top path will be better.

I’m probably wrong because you seem to have more knowledge than me, but if we’re talking about late game, then wouldn’t attack speed have better synergy with the buffs that you would have by then? Because at that point, the buffs are going to make it near impossible for a crossbow master to get pierce capped

Sharp shots is usually better than quick shots when using Crossbow, since the attack speed it already high

Quick shots increases dps by about 25-40 percent (i dont know the numbers) while sharp shots only give +4 pierce. Not really worth it because Crossbow already has great pierce.

Yea no the pierce is already high and as someone else stated sharp shots doesn't increase damage as much as quick shots, the 2 0 5 can't even pop a bad with a 4 0 0 village.

@@cherandshane2683 It's been a while, but I'd like to say that quick shots would be for single target damage and sharp shots is good for many balloons. So Quick shots might be better for those few rounds (80, 97, 100 etc.), but sharp shots is going to increase the amount of balloons it can hit in total, so a test in multiple different ways would more efficiently evaluate which one was better. You can't use the data from one test that obviously favors one opinion over the other and use it as proof.

How to ACTUALLY optimize dart monkey: NEVER go middle path (way too expensive and not worth it just get crossbow master).get top path if you need to kill ceramics,and in most situations go bottom path for the most cost effective dps and set up a dart monkey to make a crossbow master.also make sure to get top path village with 2 crossbow masters for GIGA damage

Middle path becomes a beast when max buffed. It is best in late game chimps runs which in my opinion is the most fun part of the game. Stack many damage buffs like a 25k support temple, perms brew, cripple Moab, embrittlement, super brittle, and a 2-5-0 glue gunner, as well as making use of the fact it can be buffed by primary expertise. With homeland and stalling towers it quickly becomes one of the strongest lategame towers when buffed.

I've run a few tests on the dart monkey. Crossbow master is better single target damage when you go middle path and I would normally suggest middle path when going to 100, but when your going more late game it’s better to go top path as the pierce gives it more damage cause of how many Bloons come out late game. As for top path juggernaut going middle path is the best no matter what as adding a village is not that hard. Unless your doing a challenge where you actually can’t use a village then middle is better. Plasma-monkey fanclub is actually pretty good! If you time your abilities right it can shred rounds like 95 pretty well. Although it probably still is the worst part as the cost of getting it is a little much. But still it’s pretty good!

Fun fact: Plasma Monkey Fan Club doesn't just transform base dart monkeys, but also Super Monkey Fan Clubs. Always get the tier 4s around it.

I wish the middle path did something other than just provide the ability. Maybe give tier 3 and below darts in range some more attack speed? Would make the upgrade much more worth it tbh

Crossbow Master doesnt need more attack speed so just go sharp shots for extra piercing.

The crossbow master y Shoot every 0.16s then with the very quick shots upgrade shoot at 0.16*0.68=0.1008 So in a few moments with that upgrade he fires 10 bullets in a second, which is better than going through 4 bloons extra

With ultra juggernaut if your playing on a map with no walls such as cubism put it somewhere where its a straight path for good damage on a map with no wall

Personally, I prefer sharp shots and razor sharp shots for the crossbow master instead quick shots. I don't know, it just seems like it does more damage than quick shots.

Yeah just never go with the 2-0-5 Dart because you already get enough pierce with the crossbow master Also I found that the 5 0 2 Dart with 4 0 0 village can do better than 5 2 0 with external camo. Edit: I tested a 4 2 0 village and it worked better than the 5 0 2 with village.

On dart monkey range incrised is matter exept for crossbow sharp shoter cbm i tested and 2-0-5 is better mid game and 0-2-5 lategame because of the pierce decress and cbm mk is ussles.

Yeah except that it's not worth it to get sharp shots since it only increases by 3 pierce on top of a ton of pierce already but quick shots increases attack speed by 40%
