the settings wont let me change the sun like you have in the video i tried all versions that work on 1.20.1 and one of the shaders dont work at all becouse the sky is bland and it says some OpenGL ERROR: invalid operation

The difference for me is: with vanilla minecraft, I have 60 max fps and regularly 34. If I put my best low lag shader on, it’s 24 best and 13 regular.

I have an old laptop but when I play with sodium,indium, starlight, and much more fps mods on fabric and using shaders at the same time on a. high preset I still get average 40 fps

@@JustYourAverageDude Yes, use Iris and Sodium together, they drastically increase FPS in Complementary, more than Optifine. Some shaders also require Iris over Optifine, but would say Sodium makes it easier.

It's the same with me, I have pretty decent PC and Minecraft with no shaders runs at like 200 to 300 fps, but when I turn shaders on I get 20 to 30 fps

Maybe if you can't even run Minecraft on a stable 60fps, you shouldn't really use shaders. Your computer don't be happy about it.

My issue with this is the point of shaders is to completely overhaul the look and all you’re doing is just turning those point in settings off like 90% of people use shaders for those real time shadows. You could’ve atleast benchmarked each one separate to allow the people to choose which one would work best with their pc setup.

best to use iris shaders, fabric and sodium all together. boosts my frames a ton compared to just optifine.

I have a laptop with i5-12450h rt3050 16gb and it runs minecraft good even on a big server with 100+ mods but if I dare to install a shader,oh boi,things are gonna get fucked up an my fps are gonna be lower than a bully sequel

iris + sodium, lithium, starlight. simple as that. significantly beats optifine in performance.

Bru, my laptop in vanilla has 400+ fps with highest settings , and 35+ with lowest shaders settings💀
