Today I'm sharing how to organize makeup in a small space. You can use these tips if you're thinking about organizing your skincare as well. I'll be sharing tips on how to organize along with a tour of the makeup organizers I'm using. Both of these were purchased on amazon. My favorite is my modern makeup organizer. It holds so much stuff and I love how it looks in my bathroom. Before I started organizing I did a makeup purge and got rid of things that were expired and also things I wasn't enjoying.

I cracked up when you said you were a Virgo. My mother and father are Virgo's and I married one!! Virgo's are organized and detest a lot of stuff. I have a makeup room because I always have had one. Had one thirty years ago before I was married. Organization is a great thing, wish I was better at it. I am going to order one of these organizers for my bathroom for skincare! Love it!! I have been on a no/low buy for the last few months. My major purchases were in October for my birthday when I got a few gift cards (it was a big birthday). My last purchase was a few weeks ago just to get one of the new Chanel lip liners and I used up the last of the cards to do that. Of course, I am running low on some things, but will have to wait. I did, however, buy a mini tube of radiant concealer at Sephora and a mini Nars foundation. I think that is a great way to try products. I am thinking that I should invest is storage pieces for my makeup. Your video has given me some ideas, so thanks again.

I have a bit of ocd tendencies lol so I really enjoy organizational videos. Your bathroom organizer is really nice; it’s aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. Love the drawers in it. I also keep my brushes in a big jar since I don’t have a very large makeup table to hold everything. Thanks so much for sharing Annie 🤗

It is sooo nice to see a you tuber have a reasonable, and not excessive, amount of makeup. We can only use so much makeup at once for goodness sake. It's so wasteful. Way to go Anne. Nice video.👍😀

Hi Anne I have just done a major declutter and only kept my high end makeup and passed all my drug store makeup to my family who. are really enjoying them , it’s nice to enjoy my luxury product and I am starting to really love my makeup again . I have a 9 drawer Alex unit which I really love. I actually was looking at your small carry unit , all my makeup is dominated by Estée Lauder, Charlotte tilbury and Chanel , that’s all but I have enough makeup without buying any thing else I only have quads of eyeshadows which I love , my unit takes my makeup , hair care , and new backups , my perfumes which again is Estée Lauder , I am have a problem now with my skin care storage which I now need to find a unit , again all my skin care is Estée Lauder and Liz Earl these items I have been using for years , so when I manage to find the right unit I will tell you , love your videos thank you . Thank you for sharing your organizational skills! Perhaps a small lazy Susan under the white organizer will assist when spinning it around to open the back top door (instead of sliding it on the countertop... that sliding sound is like nails on a chalkboard to me 😆)

Loved the tour Anne, you know you can get draw liners, different colours, also in silver or gold that you can place at the front of your acrylic draw, so it covers up the contents in the draws, have a great week ❤️

💡Pick a decorative paper from the art and scrapbook department of Michaels, or wallpaper. Cut paper to inside size of the acrylic drawer front to hide the contents for a cleaner, hidden look. You could probably use deco duct tape on the face of each drawer if you feel competent to not get creases. Another suggestion is using window cling sheets cut to inside size. 💁🏻‍♀️Just a few ideas, from a fellow Virgo.

I love the dustproof organizer! Thank you for sharing your find. In our new house, I have a vanity area between 2 sinks. I hadn't found anything that didn't make my brain crazy from seeing "stuff", which is what the acrylic organizers do to me. I think I might have to get 2 of these, one for makeup and one for skincare.

Hi Amy, I'm the same. I don't like the acrylic makeup storage containers. I have one and I'll keep it but I really don't like it. That dust free one I got on Amazon I LOVE it! It stays nice and neat, easy to get everything as well. You are going to really enjoy it.

I love your organization containers. I am like you, I do not like the see-through acrylic ones because the point of putting them in drawers or containers is getting them out of sight!! I like things clean and to look nice, not cluttered and messy. The only way I would use the acrylic ones would be to store in a closet where it is not seen. Love the white organizer. So cute and practical. I do have one of the acrylic organizers that everyone seems to have, but mine is in a bronze color, which looks nicer than the clear containers. As for palettes, I have them in a drawer in my vanity. I've been on a decluttering mission. I did purchase 2 items (gift card from my oldest daughter), the Natasha Denona Mini Glam palette and the Hourglass Caution mascara. Both lovely. But nothing more for another 3 months, as you are doing. Thanks for sharing your makeup stash. 💖❤

I’m so late to this party, but I wanted to thank you for sharing your storage with us. Our bathroom is huge for my wheelchair access but storage is an issue. My husband swears my makeup collection reproduces overnight! 😂 Now I’m in full “jelly” mode over your Chanel collection! 🥰

I’ve been struggling with my makeup and skincare organization for a bit and think your solutions will actually work for me !! I do love that you can close the 2 top lids on the bigger unit. I have a beautiful fluffy black cat who is an absolute beauty blender thief. Lil rascal. He’ll probably figure out how to get into it. 😼. Your collection is the perfect size. Sure wish someone would make a brush holder with a lid on top to keep dust off of them. I’ve looked and can’t find one that’s not huge and bulky, I don’t have room for anything that big.😘

I'm searching for one as well. I want one that's small enough to fit near my sink in my bathroom and looks nice too. I saw a few on amazon but I don't know if the sizes will work.

If you have a small brush collection search travel brush organizers instead and they have different styles that are more compact and often times close completely or cover your brushes to prevent grim while traveling. Although no one said you had to pnly use them for travel

Thanks for the tour! I have more makeup than I need, but considerably less than you. Constantly rearranging to simplify. My goals: clean surfaces, no clutter, nothing stacked on top of something else, easy to see and easy access. Currently have all, but a couple of palettes in one drawer with an organizer, but it's not ideal because it's cramped, stuff is stacked and difficult to see. My perfect design would be a wall cabinet that opens like a book. Each "page" would have shallow shelves to hold products. Not sure how well my description translates. Guess it would be a mini pantry to store makeup in the bathroom. LOL. Perhaps someone will read this, design it, market it and sell it. Peace.

The mirror on the walk? That's from Impressions vanity. I bought it on my 50th birthday. Unfortunately it didn't last long. I had to replace it 5 years later with a newer and different style. You can see the newer one in my latest videos in the background.
