How to Organize & Store your Paparazzi Inventory

In this video I will show you how I organize and store my Paparazzi inventory. I have a very large inventory of over 8,000 pieces and I have found a way that works for me and I hope you can take away some ideas that work for you too! This can also work for a smaller inventory with some modifications. Enjoy!
*Note - My local IKEA store no longer stocks the drawer organizers I show on this video (and they are not sold online), so I am not sure if they are a discontinued item. Here is a similar product found on Amazon. I have not tried this product but it is similar so you can try these or use it to search for comparable products. Do you keep an electronic or paper record of your inventory as well? Do people often buy by name of the item or do they ask more often about color? I know that much inventory must be a record-keeping nightmare!

When I first started, I tried keeping an inventory in Excel but with as much jewelry as I have, there is NO way I can keep up with that now. Lol. Now, I just keep a count of the number of of pieces I buy & sell. Most people don't care about the name because they do shop more by color, but I keep them by name so that I can find stuff easier. When I post an item in my group, I put the name in the description. Then when it sells, I can find it in my bins because they are sorted alphabetically. No more sifting through all black necklaces for example until I found the one I sold. If I did that, I would have to physically look at each piece until I found the one I needed. Ugh, right?! Lol.

Do you pull all your pieces for lives so you know how many you have? How do you decide what to show and where is that inventory ,,,hope that makes sense.

I notice that you keep everything in the wrapper. After you go to event? Do you put back in the wrapper and put back into alphabetical order or where do those pieces go?

I actually keep my event inventory and my FB inventory completely separate. If it is posted on Facebook or shown on a live video, it will go in my bins and I will remove only one from the wrapper temporarily while I show it on my live. Then they go back in the wrapper and get filed alphabetically. The jewelry I take to my events is not posted online for sale. Those pieces are bought specifically for my event inventory. I tried using the same jewelry for both but it never failed. I would take it to an event and sell something and then I'd forget to take it off FB and I'd sell it there too! It was a nightmare to keep up with! It's much easier to keep completely separate. :)
