In this video, Stefan talks about how to overcome fear and anxiety in 30 seconds or less.
"Now fear is something that I am familiar with because I grew up with a lot of it. If you don't know my story I used to be shy. I used to have a lot of anxiety, a lot of fear.
I was a video gamer so I just protect myself from fear just by spending all my time by myself at home in front of the computer where I would be totally safe.
And sure enough I had goals I had desires when I was young in high school I wanted to meet women and had a girlfriend, things like that but my fear kept me back. My fear paralyzed me."

I’ll try to help you out breath through your abdomen not your chest but your stomach when you do that exhale then talk it will make the words flow out instead of sounding nervous try to look sometimes I open my eyes wider and bigger in order to look more aware and not nervous as crazy as it sounds don’t think about it cause the person you talking to isn’t prepared for a whole conversation neither so it’s okay if you mess up you human nobody’s gone judge you if you mess up laugh it off matter of fact you’ll probably meet someone that’s just like you but you’ll never know if you don’t allow yourself room to make mistakes were humans don’t be afraid to embrace yourself don’t put a label on yourself and don’t make yourself feel like you have to fit in because even if you do it won’t feel right cause somethings aren’t meant to be you have to find your own style what you like how you like it etc the more you know about yourself the more confidence you will have when you talk over the phone and your heart starts to beat fast don’t allow your heart to control your body think of it as a tool that’s just there listen and focus on that instead of the persons voice I hope I helped someone and I hope nothing for the best ❤️ ♥️

My biggest fear: Letting other people/family down:(
@ProjectLifeMastery
@ProjectLifeMastery 8 жыл бұрын
+Angelsrecipes You can't be afraid to let others down... it's impossible to please everyone and make everyone happy. You have to have the confidence in doing what is best for YOU, regardless of what others think and whether or not they'll agree with it. When I was young, I worked in the family business and I quit when I was 21. My family was unhappy with me and I "let them down". But it turned out to be the best decision I ever made, as it made me who I am today and doing what I do now. Today, my family is proud of me and the success that I've achieved. They will respect you more for it long-term!

I get the same thing. Still do sometimes. A few things help me. Working out helps me a LOT! But I know that that is not always an option. I am in a bad situation where I don't really have a choice but to deal with the anxiety stress and fears I have. I feel uncomfortable. But then I realized. There is no point in me being fearful if it's not going to help my situation and only worsen it. So I give it my best shot. Not that it always helps. But listen to what this guy says!

I was the most i mean the MOST social guy in my hood, in school. I dont know what happend to me i really dont and it sucks, Nowadays i can't speak properly i just get nervous speaking and communication even with my closest friends and it cost me my friendship. I feel guilt not telling about it because i lost so much i never spoken about it to anyone. It started to happen when i was 19 i started to get confused something was wrong with me, I couldn't talk to anyone i was getting so much just overwhelming i was, so nervous for nothing i didn't understand a damn thing. Something was really wrong and i couldn't understand what. Bad things started to happen in my life and i couldn't take it anymore so i jumped in a Depression thats why caused my first anxiety. After getting out of depression, i wasn't myself anymore i couldn't speak communicate, like i said i couldn't figure out why . But as time goes i search for long time and i finally understood i had SAD. There were times i was about to end my life, times i didn't really wanna live. But as time goes I'm today pretty ok sometimes i feel good. But i keep challenge myself i go out and do whatever hang out with the friends i have i guess. Sometimes i feel so lonely and sad, I'm trying to block that negative mind of mine. Like i said i was a teenager who loved my life, I loved it i wasn't feeling lonely wasn't feeling anytinhg just happy and strong My point is i missed out so much and still do it

I just started school recently and I have gotten lots of anxiety, And it gets so badly I go into panic mode. And my anxiety is keeping me from getting rest so I can get ready for school. It starts feeling empty or tight in my chest then to my head. My fear is not getting good grades and letting my parents down. I have trouble learning like my other peers where they get it right away while I'm still processing what's going on. I have ADHD ,bipolar disorder and a buch of other things, And it does not help at all. My teachers say "you need to try focusing and doing your work" I reply "I am" and I know he means try harder but it's hard. I know it's not supposed to be easy but it puts lots of stress on me. If you read the whole thing thank you for taking the time to read my struggles.

it sounds like death anxiety. i had that as a a kid and can relate to the spider incident and the panic, and the not feeling able to swallow. He needs to talk to someone. I run death cafes now - places where people come to talk about death in a safe relaxed surrounding . Death cafes are everywhere. Your son needs to share his fears and talk. I share my fears with nobody and so it took me years to really start to heal these fears

Great advice.... I do believe it's mind over matter and training your thoughts to positive / confident thinking. If you fail doing it ...it's OK... just keep trying and as the saying goes practice makes perfect. Its so important to get rid of the negative thoughts. Just a note ...Even Moses in the bible had similar problems. If you want to read about it . a Good Story Moses - Confronting His Fears. Moses’ perception of himself..... He went from being a confident and secure individual to someone who doubted himself and his purpose in life. When God challenged him to step out of his comfort zone, Moses came up with 5 excuses for why he couldn’t do what God was asking of him. His excuses revealed not only the depth of his pain, but the lies he believed about himself. So how did God respond to Moses’ excuses and what can we learn from his life? First of all, God didn’t yell at Moses for being so timid and afraid. God understood Moses’ pain and the depth of his trauma. God understood his excuses, but he wasn’t going to let Moses stay stuck in his pain. God loved Moses too much to allow him to continue to defeat himself. So what can we learn from the story of Moses? God Will Help You God listened to Moses’ point of view. But then He spoke. For each excuse Moses gave, God responded with His perspective. He told Moses, “I will be with you.” (Exodus 3:12) He wanted to come alongside and partner with Moses. He wanted to help him. God wanted to calm his fears and build his confidence. God wanted Moses to dream again. God was aware of Moses’ insecurities. He told him, “I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” (Exodus 4:12) He knew that Moses felt inadequate for the job. He knew Moses felt insecure about his speaking disability. (Exodus 4:10) God wanted Moses to know that He would equip and empower him to do what needed to be done. He was not alone. Just Be Yourself! Just like Moses, God is not asking us to be someone else. He knows our strengths and our weaknesses. He is not surprised when we fail. He knows everything about us. Contrary to what we may think, He knew what He was getting into when He picked us. He chose us on purpose. He had a purpose and a plan in mind. He wants to partner with us and walk alongside us. We can get in the way by trying to be someone we are not. He wants us to be ourselves, just the way we are. All He asks of us is to be open and willing to give Him a chance. He wants us to stop resisting and start trusting Him. He promises never to give us more than what we can handle. Do It Afraid! Moses had to face his fears. He couldn’t get around it or wiggle his way out of it. Everything God asked him to do challenged him to step out and face his fears. I’m sure he second guessed what he was doing and whether or not he heard from God. I’m sure at times he questioned his purpose and his direction. At some point, Moses had to make a decision to follow God no matter what. He had to make a commitment from within. He had to obey God despite how he felt inside. He had to keep pushing forward until his fears subsided and no longer controlled him. Expect Resistance Sometimes things get worse before they get better. Some of Moses’ fears came true. What he thought would happen, did in fact happen. He didn’t think Pharaoh would listen to him and he was right. But that didn’t stop him. He kept going and kept trying until he got a breakthrough. Moses had to confront Pharaoh ten times with each of the ten plagues. In the process Moses learned to overcome obstacles and stay focused on his goal. He didn’t let his fears or insecurities keep him from moving forward. Try, Try Again Each time Moses went to Pharaoh and was rejected, he came back stronger and more resolved. Failure builds persistence. Moses had to make a decision to keep doing what he knew he needed to do. After each failure, Moses came back a little stronger, a little more confident. God used the conflict and rejection to build Moses’ character. Before this Moses was confident in his position and his affluence. Now Moses knew that his confidence was rooted and established in God. With God’s help, Moses could do things he never dreamed possible. He also realized that without God, he was nothing. His perspective had shifted.

Thank you! Emotional state, I created my own fear. Ended up in a situation and didn't deal with it right, now moved on but feel more uneasy in my new situation as I never resolved the old situation. Now feel terrible, lost my confidence and my connection to others. Need to change my mindset, I am fearful for the future as I feel like I am lost and incapable. Been really stupid not working well with another and not taking ownership of my emotions, apologising to them for my behaviour and trying harder to view things more positively.

Thanks for your video. But in my experience we don’t have as much control as we would like. I can for example do what you say and think and act like the opposite. But a few seconds after I’m back in the fear again often without even realizing it. It is like my experience is completely overwritten with fear again within a few seconds and this many and many times. My mind is very stubborn as you can tell ;) Maybe it will work if you keep doing it so it becomes a habit but in my experience deep rooted fears take really some time and effort to really tackle. and if you stop with it for a while it can even come back after you tackle them.

I don't like this video - I love it!! NLP is unbelievably powerful and your personal journey that you described sounds almost identical to mine. I strangely developed panic and anxiety issues in my early 30s (I was always naturally confident) and they shook my self-belief so violently I had to build myself back up from almost nothing. My therapist was an NLP master practitioner and I started to devour NLP books after meeting her. I was doing exactly what you talked about - conditioning my mind every single day to think positively and see myself as a powerful, fearless individual. I also started meditating (still doing it 10 years later) and I feel more capable and strong than ever. Overcoming any fear really does start with thinking and acting fearlessly.

Well here's my problem. I was born EXTREMELY confident and extroverted. I am still very confident on the outside, but I have experienced hardcore anxiety for the first time since the beginning of last month. I go in public, and before approaching someone or something, I just get INCREDIBLY nervous and it feels like there's a golf ball in my throat. My skin gets hot and my mind says "RUN AWAY!!!" and it's annoying as fuck. I KNOW that I am confident, but my stupid-ass body keeps being a dick and fucking everything up for me. Fml....

Levi Barros | Bruh, kinda same, I just figured out I have anxiety like right now. I feel nervous getting out of my comfort zone, my hands would start shaking, but sometimes I'm like confident af around girls and stuff, and other times I can't even say shit. I live in New York fuckin' City and still I'm like fuck it not going outside even tho I've shit to do

Wow... I have a very similar story to yours. As everyone has told me for the last 1 1/2 months, "this is temporary". I too can't believe all of a sudden this happened to me. All I can think about is the last time I felt "normal". Now I am always on high alert with my nerves-- more physical than anything, as you said. Turned an extrovert into an introvert. I wish the best for you and hope you can find the path to being yourself again.

i didnt experience anxiety until maybe five years ago then during the summer i had this beautiful awakening and i realized you can manifest anything into your reality..so i switched the focus and reprogrammed my brain and thoughts then i was on the train and it was packed and i saw sweat on my scrubs and my brain automatically said angela your having a panic attack and i end up having one. havent been the same since and trying to fight it and reprogram because i know i myself is setting myself up..i see the train im like im going to have a panic attack when i get on there..now traveling has been difficult..sometimes I feel fear of my brain having more power..i need to beat this because i know its possible because ive experienced it..i felt so free..so untrapped..ty for this video i try to watch anything positive first thing in the am

I literally typed in "overcoming fear and anxiety" and here I landed. Online teachers in the U.S. are dealing with the phasing out of China doing away with foreign online teachers. If I hadn't diversified a year before, I would have been stuck. But the economy is shifting and I am adapting. However, it is scary. Thanks for this. I needed something quick and to the point...something I could take notes on and use in my life now...and this was it. I am truly grateful and thankful for this very effective clip. Peace and love to Project Life Mastery.

Have you ever tried power poses? They raise your level of testosterone, and lower the level or cortisol in your body, making you less stressed and more confident. Love this video btw! I've changed my life in huge ways just by changing my body language. It's been a process, but one well worth it. And I also found that changing my body language led me to feeling much more confident and relaxed.
