Stop focusing on your circumstances and begin focusing on the promises of God .It was really hard for me after getting divorced.Its been 3yrs now and Amen God had help me to wait .Is not easy but we learn some of our greatest lessons in time of adversity.God purifies us for the work he want us to do .I pray that one day I will find the right person💕

Sin sucks and having no personal power over it is scary and dying to self is a confusing process but as this man teaches it is all in surrender. Know we can't and accept the fact, tell God you can't do anything without him and that we alone can not manage our lives giving it to him to control, submit yourself daily to him.

1. James 4:6 But He gives more grace. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. apart from the Holy Spirit, we cannot do this. realize you are helpless without God. Continual acknowledgment of dependency on God. 2. Submit yourselves to God. James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God; resist the Devil and he will flee from you. every area of your life is surrendered to His Lordship. Don't be stubborn in your submission to God. You have to be humble to get grace. Being humble is submitting everything to Him. 3. James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. This is an expression of your humble state. The moment I feel the pull of temptation, draw near to God. Turn your temptation into conversation with God. "Lord , I need your power to overcome this". " I need you" I Corinthians 10:31 He will provide a way of escape so that you may be able to endure it. You can endure it. 1. Submit to God to know humility and grace. Depend on HIs power is to walk by the Spirit. 2. To walk by the Spirit is a daily decision. It is a daily choice that we must make to keep walking by the Spirit. Galatians 5:7 You were running well; who hindered you from obeying the truth? they were excelling in walking in the Spirit. They stopped then. They stopped realizing He was their only source of power.They started believing they could do it in their own strength by circumcision, by obeying the law , by mixing salvation with works by mixing sanctification and my efforts. We need to daily step over the power and influence of sin. I must daily draw from this power. Hebrews 3:13 exhort one another daily as long as it's called today that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. Daily need for His assistance. Daily walk with Him. Temptation is the strongest when devotion is the weakest. Take life one day at a time. Make a daily choice to walk in the Spirit. As you do so, you will create a routine and the habitual practice of the presence of God. COME TO HIS WORD DAILY. Present continuous obedience to Him. To Walk by the Spirit means to daily be dependent on Him and to daily draw on His power, to daily decide to walk with Him, then we will see consistency to subdue those sins. Every sin can be overcome. Galatians - works of the flesh listed. The flesh is the root of all problems. Deal with the flesh by spiritual force, the power of the Holy Spirit. Every sin of the flesh is conquerable by walking with the Spirit. First three are in the sexual realm, dirty thoughts, dirty meditations etc., urges and impulses, the next two deal with the religious realm , anything that pulls my obedience and my will above my God. The temptation to love anything more than God. The next 8 deal with social sins, how we deal with one another. anger? Jealousy ? envy? Solution - walk by the Spirit. The last two deal with substance abuse and the results of it. Alcoholism is a sin not a disease. The power of God is needed. Lastly and things like these- any other sins you struggle with. You can have victory over it. The source of Holiness- is getting contact with the Spirit daily, humble yourself and submit to God daily, draw near to God daily, submit yourself to God daily and you will know something of a grace that will give you victory over any sin. It's possible. First begins by believing it. Are you tired of your sin? Sick and tired of it? Or do you still like it? comfortable with it? convinced yourself that you can live with it? Be utterly disgusted with that sin. Say, " I want to know what it's like to walk by the Spirit and to be free from this bondage." It will be down by your submission to God and how you draw near to Him. In due time, it will come They that wait upon the Lord will not be put to shame. You will know salvation, the joy that is found in holiness. Sin is deadly. It is destructive and deadly. People have come out of their sin when they saw how deadly sin was. Don't wait to see its paralyzing effects before you submit yourself to God. He wants us to walk with Him. Take one day at a time with Jesus. You cannot afford a day without the Word of God.
