The small window is for trucks that have back sliding glass so you can get a charger or cord through

There is a version for the Tacoma. It's for a 5 foot truck bed. I just put it on my Nissan Frontier today which has the same bed length. The opening in the back allows for an electric cord to be passed through that can be used for various things such as lighting or inflating an air mattress. Nice video. I put it on the hard way by assembling it first before placing it on the truck. Next time I will try assembling it on the truck bed as you demonstrated.

That window you weren't sure about is to give access to the cap of your truck for cords and stuff if it has the back sliding glass

Just brought this same tent for our 2018 TRD Sport short bed and it fits perfectly! I put the tent together on the ground first, then put it in the truck. Got some cool pics of it if I could email it to you. Thanks for the vid!

Get those puzzle workout mats and cut them to fit the bed. Put that down and the tent on top of it. So much more comfortable and would help with wear on the floor material

if you had a back window that opened on your truck you could use the little window to run a plug from your battery plug in to a light or something in the tent maybe or a small fan? Just a thought.

I think that the small window in front with zipper is to pass a 110VAC cord through to a 110VAC receptacle inside the truck. My F150 has 110VAC receptacle.

2 questions. 1, would u reccomend this over the napizar backroadz? 2, how well insulated is this one? I know it has the windows for if it's too hot but in cold weather will it hold heat in?

Will this truck tent work with a Truck Bed Box mounted across the bed of your truck. Looks like it would work but takes up a few feet of your truck bed near the cab.

Do you measure the inside diameter of the bed for the correct measurements?

The price is good, but I can see another con. Usually when camping you take lots of other things like food, items for cooking, coolers, wood, tools, recovery gear etc… You have to empty your entire truck bed to set this up. So all you food and coolers, etc. would have to go in the cab of the truck at night and everything else just outside I guess. My truck bed is usually my storage area. Plus I can secure it at night.
