How to paint 3D Printed RC CAR

Here is how i painted my 3D printed BMW M3 CSL RC CAR.
I know it's not super perfect, it needs more sandpaper work, but the result was already satisfying for me.

Great work! Good job on the sanding, it can be a real pain to make the layers disappear. For the the 3D printed body panels, I used epoxy resin to fill in the gaps between layers more easily. In the same time, it offers more rigidity. It's a lot harder to sand though so I will use a sanding machine/grinder.

Thank you, maybe i will try to my next upcoming model, but this one had lots of failures cause it was my first 3d printed rc car) upcoming model looks much better

Попробуйте использовать фотополимер для придания изначально гладкой поверхности модели, к сожалению всё равно видны слои

I came from 3d Sets :)... I wanted to say... Try "Thin CA" aka Superglue. must be thin though. Sand, Thin CA coat smoothed on with gloved hand, dries quick, Sand again, another layer of thin CA, now you should be able to go down the grits and with some sanding effort make a mirror shine like a lacquer box or car paint finish. It takes on and smooths the colour of whatever filament you use. Silks keep a little of their metalic look too... 😁✌

Excelente trabajo una verdadera obra de arte , pero una pregunta tengo cnc laser los archivos para cortar el acrílico de los focos de donde los sacaste que me interesan para replicar tus modelos ya estoy imprimiendo el chasis y esperando la electrónica, un saludo desde España y gracias por tu trabajo y tiempo.
