First thing I do Wednesday mornings when I wake up is watch your painting video. You never disappoint with the wonderful paintings, or the spontaneous things you say! Oooh... I love the contrast with the sharp edged and soft clouds.. I've done one or the other but not both at the same time. It really gives that layered look with the clouds stacked up.

Loved the video!! The great thing about painting tutes is that they are just as relevant today as when they were created a year ago! The cartoon pics were awesome and priceless! This scene reminded me of how much enjoyment I found in watercolors. Since finding your channel I have ordered some new paint supplies as it is much to hot here in New York to be looking for boxes in the attic. I stopped painting because of some physical ailments but have decided to give it another try. Tremors can be rogue waves and twitches suicidal seagulls. It has been several years but I'm hoping I can fall back into it. Once it cools off I will be getting out my old sketches just as a refresher. Thanks for getting me started again.

Please give this a try, Robert. We all need to stretch out of our comfort zone and I am always surprised at what I can do. If you are not sure of sketching the boats or people leave them out and practice on some scrap paper. You never know until you try!
